alfworld-object-heater

alfworld-object-heater is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from zjunlp/SkillNet. It costs 65 tokens per session (471 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of instructions for heating an object in a simulated household environment with a microwave or stove burner. The object must be held and a suitable appliance must be available.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it in virtual tasks that require heating an item, such as placing a held potato in a microwave and operating it.
Why use it?
It gives the agent a clear sequence for locating the appliance, opening it when needed, and confirming that heating worked.

About the project

SkillNet is infrastructure for finding, creating, evaluating, combining, and coordinating reusable capabilities for AI agents. Agent developers use it as a searchable and installable library of skills and as a system for selecting skills for particular tasks. The catalogue contains skills that can be discovered, installed, or used with SkillNet.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00065 $0.00471
Opus 5 $0.00032 $0.00235
Sonnet 5 $0.00013 $0.00094
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00047

Security

Grade A, and why

alfworld-object-heater scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Instructions

Heat an object you are holding using a compatible heating appliance (microwave or stoveburner).

Prerequisites

  • The target object must be in your inventory
  • A heating appliance (microwave, stoveburner) must exist in the environment

Workflow

  1. Navigate: go to {appliance} (e.g., go to microwave 1)
  2. Check state: If observation says appliance is closed, execute open {appliance} -- verify observation confirms it is now open
  3. Heat: heat {object} with {appliance} -- verify observation confirms "You heat the {object}"
  4. (Optional) Place: If the task requires it, navigate to the destination and place the heated object

Action Format

  • go to microwave 1 / go to stoveburner 1
  • open microwave 1
  • heat {object} with {appliance} (e.g., heat potato 1 with microwave 1)

Error Recovery

  • "Nothing happened" on heat: Check (1) you are holding the object, (2) appliance is open, (3) appliance name is correct
  • Appliance occupied: Take the existing item out first, then retry

Example

Scenario: You are holding potato 1 and need to heat it.

Thought: I need to heat the potato. I'll go to the microwave.
Action: go to microwave 1
Observation: The microwave 1 is closed.
Action: open microwave 1
Observation: You open the microwave 1. The microwave 1 is open. In it, you see nothing.
Action: heat potato 1 with microwave 1
Observation: You heat the potato 1 using the microwave 1.

Result: The potato is now heated. Proceed to place it at the destination if required by the task.

What ships with it

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
