scienceworld-conductivity-tester

scienceworld-conductivity-tester is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from zjunlp/SkillNet. It costs 39 tokens per session (454 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A procedure for testing whether an object conducts electricity by placing it in a battery, wire, and light-bulb circuit.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it in the ScienceWorld environment to collect an object, build the specified circuit, observe the bulb, and place the object in the matching box.
Why use it?
It provides a repeatable physical test instead of relying on guesses about the object’s material. The bulb’s state determines the classification.

About the project

SkillNet is infrastructure for finding, creating, evaluating, combining, and coordinating reusable capabilities for AI agents. Agent developers use it as a searchable and installable library of skills and as a system for selecting skills for particular tasks. The catalogue contains skills that can be discovered, installed, or used with SkillNet.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00039 $0.00454
Opus 5 $0.00019 $0.00227
Sonnet 5 $0.00008 $0.00091
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00045

Security

Grade A, and why

scienceworld-conductivity-tester scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Instructions

Objective

Classify a target object as electrically conductive or non-conductive by using it to complete a simple circuit with a battery and a light bulb.

Core Procedure

  1. Locate & Acquire Object: Teleport to the object's location and pick it up.
  2. Focus on Object: Use the focus action on the object to signal intent.
  3. Setup in Workshop: Teleport to the workshop. Place the object down.
  4. Construct Test Circuit: Assemble the circuit on the table in this exact sequence: a. Connect the battery anode to orange wire terminal 1. b. Connect the battery cathode to yellow wire terminal 1. c. Connect orange wire terminal 2 to the blue light bulb cathode. d. Connect green wire terminal 2 to the blue light bulb anode. e. Connect yellow wire terminal 2 to terminal 1 on the target object. f. Connect green wire terminal 1 to terminal 2 on the target object.
  5. Observe & Classify: Wait 2 steps (wait1 twice). Then look around.
    • If the blue light bulb is ON, the object is conductive. Place it in the blue box.
    • If the blue light bulb is OFF, the object is non-conductive. Place it in the orange box.

Key Notes

  • The workshop contains all necessary components: battery, wires (orange, yellow, green), and light bulbs.
  • The circuit is fragile; connect components in the order specified.
  • The observation (look around) after waiting is critical for determining the bulb's state.
  • This skill assumes the environment's action set and room structure as provided in the trajectory.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

scienceworld-conductivity-tester is a skill published in the GitHub repository zjunlp/SkillNet (1,255 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 39 tokens to every session and 454 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
