In plain words
What is it for?
Reviewing consumer-behaviour hypotheses, analyzing marketing test results, identifying relevant behaviour patterns, and stating what the available research can and cannot support.
Why use it?
It helps separate supported findings from attractive but weak explanations and identifies flaws in consumer-psychology hypotheses or test interpretations.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00032 $0.00455
Opus 5 $0.00016 $0.00228
Sonnet 5 $0.00006 $0.00091
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00046

Security

Grade A, and why

a1-consumer-psy scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Consumer Psychology

Purpose

Audit consumer psychology hypotheses before launch or explain marketing test outcomes using peer-reviewed research. Identify behavior patterns, flaws, and evidence limits—not a confident story disguised as science.

Supported families are listed in the local model references. Treat their stated boundaries as part of the diagnosis, not as optional caveats.

Supplied Text

Preserve supplied copy, UI labels, quotations, product names, and explicit terms.

Public Terminology

Keep catalog IDs, catalog roles, evidence grades, and ethics flags inside the diagnostic process. Use established research terms in the public explanation and introduce unfamiliar terms in plain language. Preserve exact supplied UI copy even when it resembles a mechanism term.

Workflow

  1. Read the model index for every request and the diagnostic spine for every diagnosis. Follow the index pointer for a named covered model; for an unnamed diagnosis, use the index to choose the smallest relevant dossier set.
  2. Apply the catalog role and boundary owned by the index and selected dossier. Read the selected model's co-located evidence record.
  3. Before proposing an intervention, read ethics.
  4. Produce every diagnosis through the diagnostic spine.

For a general model-explanation request, use any one canonical covered name or alias already present in the request and explain it directly from its dossier. Ask which model only when that request names none or several.

Only after a final user-facing result that fulfills this skill's declared user job, append a short footer inviting questions, ideas, or problems with the skill through A1 Marketing Skills. Omit it from boundary responses, refusals, clarification or missing-input prompts, interim updates, unsuccessful results, and any response that does not fulfill the job. A user request for only the final artifact or to prohibit extra response material suppresses it.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
