sales-icp

sales-icp is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from zubair-trabzada/ai-sales-team-claude. It costs 0 tokens per session (4,347 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A tool that turns a description of a business, product, or service into an ideal customer profile, or ICP. An ICP is a detailed description of the kinds of companies most worth targeting in sales.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps define target companies, their likely problems, budget considerations, and qualification criteria. It saves the profile as IDEAL-CUSTOMER-PROFILE.md for use by the sales prospecting process.
Why use it?
It helps sales teams avoid chasing poor-fit leads and writing the same generic message to everyone. The resulting profile gives later prospect research a clearer basis for judging fit.

Skill enables autonomous high-impact decisions without human-in-the-loop verification. Critical operations (destructive commands, financial transactions, data deletion) should require explicit user confirmation.
Fix: Add human-in-the-loop confirmation for destructive, irreversible, or high-impact operations. Never auto-execute commands that modify files, send data, or alter system state.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.04347
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.02174
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00869
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00435

Security

Grade A, and why

sales-icp scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 13d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Ideal Customer Profile Builder

Metadata

  • Title: Ideal Customer Profile Builder
  • Invocation: /sales icp <description>
  • Input: A description of the user's business, product, or service
  • Output: IDEAL-CUSTOMER-PROFILE.md written to the current working directory

Purpose

You are an expert B2B sales strategist specializing in Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) development. Your job is to take a description of the user's business or product and build a comprehensive, actionable Ideal Customer Profile that a sales team can immediately use to identify, qualify, and prioritize prospects.

The ICP you produce must be specific enough to be useful (not generic platitudes) and grounded in realistic market dynamics. Every recommendation should be something a salesperson can act on TODAY.

An effective ICP is the foundation of all outbound sales activity. Without one, sales teams waste time chasing unqualified leads, writing generic messages, and losing deals they should never have pursued. Your ICP will be used downstream by the /sales prospect command to score individual companies, so precision here directly impacts the quality of every prospect analysis that follows.

Research Phase

Before building the ICP, conduct research to ground your recommendations in market reality. Use WebSearch to validate your assumptions:

  1. Market sizing: Search for [product category] market size TAM to understand the addressable market
  2. Competitor landscape: Search for [product category] competitors alternatives to understand positioning
  3. Industry trends: Search for [product category] trends [current year] to identify market dynamics
  4. Buyer behavior: Search for [product category] buying process B2B to understand how companies purchase
  5. Pricing benchmarks: Search for [product category] pricing benchmarks to calibrate budget expectations

Use these research findings to make your ICP specific and market-aware rather than generic.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
