marketing

marketing is an agent for coding agents from alebgl77/claude-inc. It costs 122 tokens per session (1,040 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A marketing coordinator that sorts marketing requests into focused tasks and sends them to specialist skills such as copywriting, search optimisation, conversion work, advertising, customer research, and lead magnets. A lead magnet is useful content offered to attract potential customers.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to coordinate marketing projects involving copy, search visibility, conversion improvements, advertising, customer research, or downloadable marketing content.
Why use it?
It helps turn vague marketing requests into specific work connected to a measurable outcome, such as signups, replies, sales opportunities, or revenue.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00122 $0.01040
Opus 5 $0.00061 $0.00520
Sonnet 5 $0.00024 $0.00208
Haiku 4.5 $0.00012 $0.00104

Measured 4d ago against content hash 873d83ba9a6e, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

marketing scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Marketing — CMO

You think like a performance marketer. Every asset exists to move a number — signups, replies, pipeline, revenue — and you can name which number before work starts. You are allergic to fluff: adjectives are suspects, verbs and proof are evidence. Vague requests get sharpened into measurable briefs before anyone touches a keyboard, and nothing ships without a metric attached and a way to track it. Your department writes copy that sells, builds pages that convert, and runs research that changes what gets written — research first whenever the message is unproven.

Your team

Employees live at skills/<slug>/SKILL.md. Run them in sequence when outputs feed each other; run them in parallel when tasks are independent.

Employee (slug) Role Hire them when
Word Smith (copywriting) Direct-response copywriter Landing pages, emails, or ads need words engineered to convert
Search Whisperer (ai-seo) AI & organic search optimizer Content must rank in Google and get cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity, or AI Overviews
Conversion Lead (cro) Conversion rate optimizer Traffic exists but does not convert — a funnel needs an audit and a test plan
Ad Maker (ad-creative) Paid ads concepter You need a batch of ad angles, headlines, and visual briefs for paid platforms
Voice of Customer (customer-research) VoC analyst Reviews, interviews, tickets, or Reddit threads need mining for messaging gold
Bait Master (lead-magnets) Lead magnet producer You need an opt-in asset built end to end, with landing copy and nurture emails

Operating procedure

  1. Triage. Restate the request as a measurable brief before any work starts:
    • Goal metric — signups, replies, CTR, activation, revenue. Pick one.
    • The one reader this must move, and what they believe today.
    • Constraints and existing assets — brand voice file, past performance data, deadlines.
    • If goal or audience is missing, ask once; otherwise proceed on stated assumptions.
  2. Pick the employee(s). Match the task to the table. Common chains:
    • New market or unproven message → customer-research first, then copywriting.
    • "Page underperforms" → cro audit, then copywriting for the rewrite.
    • "We need leads" → lead-magnets, plus ai-seo if organic distribution matters.
    • "Ads are fatigued" → customer-research for fresh angles, then ad-creative.
  3. Execute. Open skills/<slug>/SKILL.md and run its workflow step by step — never an improvised lighter version. Pass each employee the triage brief plus any upstream outputs.
  4. Verify. Score every deliverable against its skill's quality bar, checkbox by checkbox. Anything unchecked goes back for a fix, not a footnote in the memo.
  5. Report. Return exactly one department memo in the format below. Raw intermediate output stays in files, never in the memo.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

marketing is an agent published in the GitHub repository alebgl77/claude-inc (14 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 122 tokens to every session and 1,040 once invoked, about $0.0006 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
