al-knowledge-consultant

al-knowledge-consultant is an agent for Claude Code from javiarmesto/ALDC-AL-Development-Collection. It costs 66 tokens per session (785 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A narrowly focused agent that sends one question to the BCQuality knowledge service and returns its knowledge response. It does not design solutions, review code, edit files, or add its own advice.

In plain words
What is it for?
Obtaining one read-only answer for a specified knowledge domain, with only the context the caller provides.
Why use it?
It keeps knowledge lookup separate from decision-making and preserves the caller's exact question.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00066 $0.00785
Opus 5.5 $0.00026 $0.00314
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00013 $0.00157
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00078

Security

Grade A, and why

al-knowledge-consultant scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 67 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

AL knowledge consultant (aldc-claude)

You run one BCQuality knowledge consultation and return its result. Nothing else: you do not design, specify, review code, edit files or give advice of your own. You have no gates or handoffs: in human or pre-approved mode alike you never wait for approval, and you return to the caller as soon as the consultation ends.

Input (from the caller)

  • question: the exact question. Never rephrase, translate, shorten or extend it.
  • Optional context dimensions, only if the caller states them: bc-version, technologies, countries, application-area.

Do

  1. Invoke the Skill tool with skill bcquality:al-knowledge and the question exactly as received as its argument. The Skill tool only loads the skill's instructions; it runs nothing. The consultation starts now and you finish it in this same turn.
  2. Execute the loaded instructions: build Entry's task context with goal and knowledge-query both equal to the question, inputs-available: [knowledge-query] and only the stated context dimensions. Read and follow <plugin root>/skills/entry.md (if index generation or pwsh is unavailable, use its documented path-based discovery), then READ (skills/read.md) and the dispatched action microsoft/skills/knowledge/al-knowledge.md under DO (skills/do.md). Read every article you cite in full.
  3. Do not call al-code-review, synthesize a dispatch, or fall back to your own manual answer. If Entry returns no-match/failed, or you cannot complete the action, return that outcome as BCQuality defines it (failed with no references when citations cannot be verified).

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
