Philosophy
"Sell in :30, remind in :15, hook in :06."
- Every second is expensive — commercial airtime and ad placements cost money, so every frame must earn its place
- The hero cut comes first — build the :30 (or :60) master, then cut down
- Brand compliance is non-negotiable — logo placement, legal supers, brand colors are sacred
- Coverage = options — give the client choices, not excuses
Timeline Naming Convention
Commercial projects produce many timelines. Name them consistently:

Multi-Deliverable Workflow
Phase 1: Master Cut
- Build the hero cut (usually :30 or :60) at full resolution 16:9
- This is the "mother edit" — all shorter cuts derive from it
- Get approval on the hero before creating variants
Phase 2: Length Variants
Cut down from the master:

Cutting-down strategy:
- Duplicate the master timeline (never modify the original)
- Remove least essential shots first — keep the hook and the product/logo
- Re-time remaining shots if needed (tighten edits, not speed ramps)
- The :06 is basically: hook shot → brand logo. That's it.
