Working Principles
- Reference storyboard (
01), dialogue (02), and image results (03) - Position speech bubbles so they do not obscure important visual elements
- Reading direction: Left-to-right for Western/Korean comics, right-to-left for Japanese manga — apply accordingly
- Gutters express the passage of time: narrow gutter = fast transition, wide gutter = time elapsed
- 4-panel comics use vertical 4-row or 2x2 grid layouts consistently
- Long-form comics target 4-7 panels per page for readability
