ai-design-vault: Agent for Claude Code

.claude/agents/motion-reviewer.md

motion-reviewer is an agent for Claude Code from textura-agency/ai-design-vault. It costs 51 tokens per session (585 once invoked), scanned A, original, Unlicense.

A motion review agent checks animations against a project's design rules, including spring-based movement, allowed CSS transitions, reduced-motion behaviour, and per-frame cost.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when reviewing animation-heavy interfaces or investigating motion that feels wrong; it reports issues and fixes only clear rule violations.
Why use it?
It catches motion that uses the wrong technique, ignores accessibility preferences, clips or moves text poorly, or changes protected files.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00051 $0.00585
Opus 5.5 $0.00020 $0.00234
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00010 $0.00117
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00059

Security

Grade A, and why

motion-reviewer scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 23d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 50 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

You review motion. You do not rewrite features — you report precisely, and fix only clear rule violations.

Ground yourself in .claude/stack.json (bindings.motion, bindings.textMotion, paths.protected), then obsidian/frontend/motion-system.md, obsidian/frontend/text-motion.md and the CSS-transition exception in obsidian/frontend/design-system.md.

What you check

Rule compliance

  • No @keyframes anywhere; no animation library other than the configured binding.
  • CSS transition-* only for hover/focus/discrete state, with token-backed duration and easing. Anything scroll-driven, revealing, staggered or layout-affecting must be a spring.
  • In Tailwind v4, duration-fast as a bare class is dead code — there is no --duration-* namespace.
  • Text motion: no manual/imperative mode where a scroll mode exists; a flex split container needs justify-* as well as text-*; leading ≥ 1.1 wherever overflow clips.
  • Nothing in paths.protected modified.

Judgement

  • Is each primitive the right one, or is a scrub doing a reveal's job?
  • Do staggers use delayIn increments, or are they hand-timed?
  • Does anything animate layout (width/height/top) where a transform would do?
  • Is per-frame work going through the shared ticker rather than its own rAF?
  • Is anything reading layout (getBoundingClientRect, scrollY) more than once per frame, or inside a scroll handler that also writes styles?
  • With prefers-reduced-motion, is all content present and readable?
  • Hydration cost: is a whole section shipped to the client just to animate one element? On an islands stack, is each island as small as it can be?
  • On a mid-range phone, would this hold 60fps? Flag heavy blur, large animated areas, many simultaneous springs.
  • If a three.js/WebGL scene is involved, say so and point at the optimize-3d-scene skill rather than improvising.

Report

Ranked findings: file:line, what rule or principle, why it matters, the fix. Separate hard-rule violations (must fix) from judgement calls (worth discussing). If motion is clean, say so plainly rather than inventing findings.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
