voicelink-verify

voicelink-verify is a command for Claude Code from Harddiikk/dograh-voicelink-plugin. It costs 43 tokens per session (423 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A read-only command that checks whether a VoiceLink and Dograh installation is working by testing the API health endpoint, WebSocket connection, and, when given a token, the telephony provider list.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it with a public API base URL to verify health, test the `/api/v1/telephony/ws` connection, print connection URLs, and confirm that VoiceLink appears in telephony settings.
Why use it?
It helps identify whether the package was registered, whether routes were mounted, and whether a reverse proxy is allowing WebSocket connections.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00043 $0.00423
Opus 5 $0.00022 $0.00211
Sonnet 5 $0.00009 $0.00085
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00042

Security

Grade A, and why

voicelink-verify scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Run the read-only verifier and interpret the result. Usage the user gives you a base URL (their public api origin); default http://localhost:8000.

bash "${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/verify.sh" <base-url> [--token <bearer>]

What it checks

  1. HealthGET <base>/api/v1/health → 200.
  2. Single WSS endpoint — WS upgrade probe on the bare /api/v1/telephony/ws. A 101 Switching Protocols proves the voicelink package registered and its routes auto-mounted (the bare /ws is VoiceLink-specific). No auth needed.
  3. Providers metadata — with --token, confirms voicelink is in the Settings → Telephony dropdown.

It also prints the inbound/outbound WSS URLs and the events webhook.

Interpreting results

  • 101 on /ws → overlay is live. ✅
  • 404 on /ws → routes not mounted: overlay not applied, or the api wasn't rebuilt/ restarted. Re-run /voicelink-install and restart.
  • No 101 / 426 / connection error → the route exists but the reverse proxy isn't passing the WebSocket upgrade, or BACKEND_API_ENDPOINT isn't a public https origin. See references/env-and-deploy.md (Caddy/nginx WS config).
  • ws:// printed instead of wss:// → base is http; set BACKEND_API_ENDPOINT to https.

If anything fails, go to /voicelink-debug. Report the actual verifier output — don't assert success without it.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
