Getting it into your agent

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00017 | $0.00537 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00009 | $0.00269 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00003 | $0.00107 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00002 | $0.00054 |
Grade A, and why
add-persona scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
What it actually says
Add a persona
Quick, focused command for adding one persona without running the full init
wizard. Same UX as Step 2 of init, just standalone.
Steps
1. Pick mode
AskUserQuestion:
- Import from cold-start registry — show the list from
${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/cold-start/registry.yaml, multi-select - Add a custom author — define from scratch via prompts below
2a. Import path
Parse ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/cold-start/registry.yaml. Show each entry as a
checkbox option in AskUserQuestion (multiSelect: true). Show name, role
(short), and the persona id.
For each picked id:
- Read the full entry from registry.yaml
- Write to
personas/<id>.yamlin user's CWD (create personas/ if needed) - Confirm: "✅ added
<name>(sources: rss, linkedin_apify, x_apify)"
2b. Custom path
Sequential plain-text prompts:
- "Persona id (kebab-case, e.g.
naval-ravikant):" - "Display name:"
- "Role (one line):"
- "Expertise tags (comma separated):"
- "Voice — 2-3 sentences. What makes this author recognisable? The judge uses this."
- "Groups (multi-select: marketing, product, strategy, ai, finance, leadership, design, sales):"
Then the sources loop. AskUserQuestion (multiSelect):
- rss / linkedin_apify / x_apify / mastodon / bluesky / youtube / manual_text / telegram_public / readwise_reader / etc.
For each chosen source type, prompt the handle/URL. For types requiring auth
(linkedin_apify, x_apify, readwise_*, telegram_public), check if the env var
is in .env. If not, prompt for it, validate, save.
Write the resulting passport to personas/<id>.yaml.
3. Ask if user wants to run the pipeline for this persona now
If yes → invoke /expert-mind-skill:run <id>. Otherwise: "Saved. Run later with
/expert-mind-skill:run <id> or wait for next cron tick."
Note
This command does NOT walk through cron setup or other init steps. For full
onboarding, use /expert-mind-skill:init.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
- 9d ago First seen · 57 lines · 17 tokens per session scan A 4787714e7350
add-persona is a command published in the GitHub repository mooreslaws/expert-mind-skill (5 stars, last pushed 2mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 17 tokens to every session and 537 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
