achievements

achievements is a command for Claude Code from stealthsrc/steam-mcp. It costs 14 tokens per session (314 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A command that compares a player's unlocked achievements in a Steam game with the percentage of players worldwide who unlocked each one. Achievements are in-game milestones recorded by Steam.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to review a player's achievement progress, rank unlocked achievements by rarity, and list locked achievements from easiest to hardest based on global rates.
Why use it?
It shows overall progress and identifies which completed milestones are rare or which remaining ones are easier to pursue.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00014 $0.00314
Opus 5 $0.00007 $0.00157
Sonnet 5 $0.00003 $0.00063
Haiku 4.5 $0.00001 $0.00031

Measured 3d ago against content hash 0812913869fb, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

achievements scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Show achievement progress for: $ARGUMENTS

The argument is in the format <steamid_or_vanity> <game_name>. Extract the first word/token as the steamid or vanity URL, and the rest as the game name query.

Do the following steps in order:

  1. Use steam_search_game with the game name part to find the AppID (limit: 3)
  2. In parallel, use the top AppID result to call:
    • steam_get_achievements with the player steamid, the AppID, language="english", status="all"
    • steam_get_global_achievement_stats with the AppID

Then present the results:

Achievements - {Game Name} - {Player}

Progress: X/Y (Z%)

Cross-reference each unlocked achievement with its global unlock rate from steam_get_global_achievement_stats. Highlight the rarest unlocked achievements (lowest global %) with a note like "rare - only X% of players".

Show two tables:

Unlocked

| Achievement | Unlocked on | Global % | Rarity | (sorted by global % ascending - rarest first)

Still locked

| Achievement | Global % | (sorted by global % descending - easiest first, so the player knows what to do next)

At the end, add a link to the achievements page:

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
