Unity-AI-ProBuilder: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

Unity-AI-ProBuilder AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from IvanMurzak/Unity-AI-ProBuilder. It costs 1,036 tokens per session, scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

Repository instructions for a Unity package that exposes tools for creating and changing ProBuilder mesh geometry. They document the package layout, Unity test projects, build files, and release checks.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when developing, testing, packaging, or releasing the Unity-AI-ProBuilder package and its 3D geometry tools.
Why use it?
They tell an agent which files are authoritative and which tests and version updates are required when changing the package.

This is IvanMurzak/Unity-AI-ProBuilder's own configuration. It tells Codex and OpenCode how to work on Unity-AI-ProBuilder itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything Unity-AI-ProBuilder configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01036 $0.01036
Opus 5.5 $0.00414 $0.00414
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00207 $0.00207
Haiku 4.5 $0.00104 $0.00104

Security

Grade A, and why

Unity-AI-ProBuilder AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 23d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

AGENTS.md — Unity-AI-ProBuilder

Unity package com.ivanmurzak.unity.mcp.probuilder — exposes ProBuilder mesh operations so AI can create and manipulate 3D geometry through Unity-MCP's RQL tools (no extension MCP tools). An extension of AI Game Developer (com.ivanmurzak.unity.mcp), generated from Unity-AI-Tools-Template; the user-facing tool list is in README.md.

Layout

  • Unity-Package/ — Unity project hosting the package; only Packages/com.ivanmurzak.unity.mcp.probuilder/ ships.
    • package.json — the version source of truth and the dependency pins.
    • Editor/Scripts/Rql/ — the ProBuilderModule (IRqlModule: probuilder source, probuilder.* functions, the ProBuilderMesh adapter, face / material views, the agent guide); replaces the former probuilder-* tools. New operations are adapter methods or ProBuilderEditorApi [RqlCallable] methods.
    • Runtime/ — runtime assembly (currently empty).
    • Tests/Editor/Rql/ (EditMode, ProBuilderTestBase + one file per adapter / view / source; a test runs every guide example) and Tests/Runtime/ (PlayMode).
  • Unity-Tests/<unity-version>/ — one test project per supported Unity version, consuming the package via file:. A new version must also be added to test_pull_request.yml and release.yml.
  • Installer/ — Unity project that exports the .unitypackage installer (Assets/com.IvanMurzak/<name> Installer/).
  • commands/ — PowerShell helpers (below) and check-versions.py (synced in by the release cascade — do not hand-edit; CI runs it as the version-consistency gate).
  • .github/workflows/ — test_pull_request.yml (PR test matrix), test_unity_plugin.yml (reusable test job), release.yml, bump_version.yml, claude.yml (@claude mentions).
  • docs/ — user docs: Deploy-{OpenUPM,GitHub,npmjs}.md, Manual-Package-Rename.md, openupm-signing.md, img/, promo/.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
