UE-AUDIO-MCP: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

UE-AUDIO-MCP AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from koshimazaki/UE-AUDIO-MCP. It costs 213 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A repository instruction file for coding agents working on the UE-AUDIO-MCP project, an Unreal Engine audio plugin and tooling repository. It directs agents to the detailed architecture, folder, and task guidance before they edit files.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when an agent works on the Unreal Engine plugin, scripts, audio systems, or full-system builds in this repository.
Why use it?
It gives agents the project-specific rules and build instructions they need, while keeping the central file short and pointing to the maintained sources.

Instructions file for CodexOpenCode

Written for Codex and OpenCode: the file is AGENTS.md. Also seen: reads .claude/ paths; mentions CLAUDE.md.

This is koshimazaki/UE-AUDIO-MCP's own configuration. It tells Codex and OpenCode how to work on UE-AUDIO-MCP itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything UE-AUDIO-MCP configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00213 $0.00213
Opus 5.5 $0.00085 $0.00085
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00043 $0.00043
Haiku 4.5 $0.00021 $0.00021

Security

Grade A, and why

UE-AUDIO-MCP AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Agent instructions

This repository keeps one set of instructions for all coding agents:

  • Project instructions: .claude/CLAUDE.md covers the architecture, layout, commands and conventions. Read it before changing anything.
  • Folder notes: ue5_plugin/CLAUDE.md (plugin build and the UE breaking-changes checklist) and scripts/CLAUDE.md (maintenance scripts). Read the one for the folder you're working in.
  • Task guides: .claude/skills/ has one SKILL.md per area: MetaSounds DSP, Blueprint audio, Wwise setup, driving the UE5 plugin, plugin development and full-system builds. Some skills keep longer reference material in a references/ folder next to their SKILL.md.

Make changes in those files. This one only points to them, so it can't drift.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
