Aspid.FastTools: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

Aspid.FastTools AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from VPDPersonal/Aspid.FastTools. It costs 426 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for developing the Aspid.FastTools Unity package and its .NET code generators and analyzers. They document supported Unity versions, build steps, version updates, and where consumer skills belong.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when modifying Aspid.FastTools, its analyzers or generators, package versions, release files, or consumer-facing skills.
Why use it?
They prevent changes that compile incorrectly, deadlock Unity's compiler, or fail to update the package consistently. They also explain when rebuilt generator files reach Unity.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00426 $0.00426
Opus 5.5 $0.00170 $0.00170
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00085 $0.00085
Haiku 4.5 $0.00043 $0.00043

Security

Grade A, and why

Aspid.FastTools AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 15d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Aspid.FastTools

Unity package tech.aspid.fasttools (Aspid.FastTools/Packages/tech.aspid.fasttools/) plus two standalone .NET solutions, Aspid.FastTools.Generators/ and Aspid.FastTools.Analyzers/, whose DLLs are committed into the package, and Agent Skills for projects that consume the package in skills/. The rules of each area are in the AGENTS.md of Aspid.FastTools/ (Unity project and package), Aspid.FastTools.Generators/, Aspid.FastTools.Analyzers/ and Website/.

Rules

  • Bump the version only with scripts/set-version.sh <version>. /asp-ft-release <version> runs the whole release, the Asset Store upload included.
  • In .claude/settings.json allow only commands that cannot run code or read the environment; put the rest in .claude/settings.local.json.

Checks

Run what applies before you open a PR.

  • Scripts: npm --prefix Website ci && node --test scripts/*.test.mjs.
  • Repository: node scripts/check-package-files.mjs, node scripts/check-samples.mjs, node scripts/check-version.mjs, node scripts/check-unity-minimum.mjs, node scripts/check-contrast.mjs, and npm install --no-save js-yaml@4 && node scripts/check-skills.mjs.

C# style

.editorconfig holds the rules a formatter checks; the asp-ft-code-style skill holds the rest: member order, named arguments, attribute and blank-line layout, comments and XML docs. Read it before you write C#.

Samples~

Samples~ is code a newcomer reads, not package API. Read the asp-ft-samples skill before you change it.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
