godot-mcp-workflow

godot-mcp-workflow is a cursor rule for Cursor from visionTw/godot-ai-harness. It costs 270 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A workflow guide for testing and debugging Godot projects with MCP tools, which let an agent interact with the game engine. It also describes how to record results in project documents and follow staged checks.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when validating Godot scenes or features, diagnosing runtime problems, collecting engine output or completing smoke, regression and release checks.
Why use it?
It provides a repeatable way to run tests, collect debugging output and keep evidence of what was checked.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00270 $0.00270
Opus 5 $0.00135 $0.00135
Sonnet 5 $0.00054 $0.00054
Haiku 4.5 $0.00027 $0.00027

Security

Grade A, and why

godot-mcp-workflow scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Godot MCP Workflow

    • docs/phases/phase-*/development_log.md
    • docs/test/phases/phase-*/runs/YYYY-MM-DD.md(如存在自动化执行)
  • 对齐阶段门禁:完成功能点后应执行 smoke,再视范围执行 regression 与 gate 检查。
  • 运行失败时按顺序排查:
    1. MCP 配置是否已加载:.cursor/mcp.json
    2. Node.js 与 Godot 版本是否满足项目要求(Godot 4.6.2)
    3. 项目路径是否包含 project.godot
    4. 若自动检测失败,配置 GODOT_PATH
  • 默认禁止自动 push;仅在用户明确要求时执行 commit / push。

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
