Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00044 $0.01465
Opus 5 $0.00022 $0.00732
Sonnet 5 $0.00009 $0.00293
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00146

Measured 13d ago against content hash 0b597037ad8a, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-12, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

nyc-dob-permits scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 13d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

/as:nyc-dob-permits — DOB Permit & Filing History

Harness note: use /as:<skill> on Claude Code and $<skill> on Codex. Resolve <skill-root> as the directory containing this loaded SKILL.md and <plugin-root> as the plugin root that contains skills/, and use equivalent native tools when host tool names differ.

Look up all DOB permits and job filings for any NYC building across both Legacy BIS and DOB NOW systems. No API key required.

Usage

/as:nyc-dob-permits 120 Broadway, Manhattan
/as:nyc-dob-permits 1000770001 (BBL)
/as:nyc-dob-permits 1001389 (BIN)

Steps 1–2: Parse Input & Resolve BBL/BIN

Read ../nyc-property-report/pluto-resolution.md (shared by all 7 NYC due-diligence skills) and follow it: parse the input (address, BBL, or BIN), resolve via PLUTO, and resolve BIN via Building Footprints — BIN is required for every query in Step 3.

Step 3: Query DOB Permits & Filings

Dataset IDs and field names are canonical in ../nyc-property-report/socrata-reference.md — on any disagreement, the reference wins.

Query all 4 datasets using BIN. IMPORTANT: Legacy datasets use bin__ (double underscore). DOB NOW datasets use bin.

Legacy Permit Issuance

https://data.cityofnewyork.us/resource/ipu4-2q9a.json?$where=bin__='{BIN}'&$order=issuance_date DESC&$limit=30

Key fields: permit_si_no, job__, job_type, issuance_date, expiration_date, permittee_s_first_name, permittee_s_last_name, owner_s_first_name, owner_s_last_name

Legacy Job Filings

https://data.cityofnewyork.us/resource/ic3t-wcy2.json?$where=bin__='{BIN}'&$order=latest_action_date DESC&$limit=30

Key fields: job__, doc__, job_type, job_status, latest_action_date, applicant_s_first_name, applicant_s_last_name

DOB NOW Approved Permits

https://data.cityofnewyork.us/resource/rbx6-tga4.json?$where=bin='{BIN}'&$order=approved_date DESC&$limit=30

Key fields: job_filing_number, work_permit, permit_status, work_type, approved_date, issued_date, expired_date (this dataset has NO filing_date or job_type — use approved_date / work_type)

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
