campfire

campfire is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from apideck-libraries/api-skills. It costs 71 tokens per session (2,118 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

An Apideck connection for Campfire, an accounting service, using one shared interface for invoices, bills, payments, accounts, and journal entries.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to read, create, update, or reconcile Campfire accounting records, and to reuse the same integration code with other accounting services by changing the service identifier.
Why use it?
It avoids building separate authentication, paging, retry, and connector code for Campfire. Coverage is incomplete because this connector is in beta.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00071 $0.02118
Opus 5 $0.00036 $0.01059
Sonnet 5 $0.00014 $0.00424
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00212

Measured 4d ago against content hash ee7600ce8753, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

campfire scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 185 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Campfire (via Apideck)

Access Campfire through Apideck's Accounting unified API — one of 34 Accounting connectors that share the same method surface. Code you write here ports to Access Financials, Acumatica, banqUP and 30 other Accounting connectors by changing a single serviceId string. Apideck handles auth, pagination, rate limiting, and retries so you don't write per-tenant Campfire plumbing.

Beta connector. Campfire is currently in beta on Apideck. Expect partial resource coverage and occasional mapping gaps. Always verify coverage (see below) and fall back to the Proxy API for unsupported operations.

Quick facts

At a glance

  • Implementation difficulty: moderate — API Key authentication — consumers create credentials manually
  • Vendor partnership required: no (developer portal) — optional, but may include sandbox access and other benefits
  • Apideck-managed credentials: not available
  • Account type required: Campfire account
  • Consumer access level: Admin role (required for full read and write access to all resources)
  • Sandbox: available — Via consumer's own account, or via Campfire integration partner sandbox (optional partnership)
  • Authentication: API Key — the consumer supplies a token sent as an Authorization: Token header.
  • Webhooks: Not supported — no native or virtual webhooks; data sync is polling-based.

Important to know:

  • Consumers generate their own API key in Campfire account settings, and it is displayed only once — it must be copied immediately.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
