Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00071 $0.02214
Opus 5.5 $0.00028 $0.00886
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00014 $0.00443
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00221

Security

Grade A, and why

freshbooks scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 20d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

FreshBooks (via Apideck)

Access FreshBooks through Apideck's Accounting unified API — one of 34 Accounting connectors that share the same method surface. Code you write here ports to Access Financials, Acumatica, banqUP and 30 other Accounting connectors by changing a single serviceId string. Apideck handles auth, pagination, rate limiting, and retries so you don't write per-tenant FreshBooks plumbing.

Quick facts

At a glance

  • Implementation difficulty: straightforward — Self-Service OAuth App, Free to Register — No Partnership or App Review
  • Vendor partnership required: no (FreshBooks Developer Hub) — No partner program to join — register your own OAuth app free in the Developer Hub. A public FreshBooks App Store listing is optional.
  • Apideck-managed credentials: available — For testing, the consent screen shows "Apideck"; production connections use your own FreshBooks OAuth app.
  • Account type required: Any FreshBooks account (trial or paid); no specific plan tier required.
  • Consumer access level: Owner or admin role on the FreshBooks Business being connected.
  • Sandbox: available (signup)
  • Costs: API access is free; consumers need an active FreshBooks subscription, and a free trial covers evaluation.
  • Rate limits: No daily cap and no published numeric limit — FreshBooks throttles bursts of requests.
  • Authentication: Authorization code flow.
  • Webhooks: No webhooks — FreshBooks offers none, so data sync is polling-based.

Important to know:

  • The FreshBooks Bills API is still in beta, so the accounts-payable side rides on an interface FreshBooks has not finalised yet.
  • A customisable chart of accounts is only available on FreshBooks' Plus, Premium and Select plans, so a consumer on Lite exposes just the default accounts — two customers on different plans can return different ledger-account data.
  • One FreshBooks login can hold several Businesses, but a connection covers exactly one of them — a customer spanning multiple entities needs a separate connection per Business.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

freshbooks is a skill published in the GitHub repository apideck-libraries/api-skills (5 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 71 tokens to every session and 2,214 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls).
