What is it for?
Use it to read, write, or reconcile invoices, bills, payments, ledger accounts, and journal entries in Business Central.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00091 $0.02553
Opus 5.5 $0.00036 $0.01021
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00018 $0.00511
Haiku 4.5 $0.00009 $0.00255

Security

Grade A, and why

microsoft-dynamics-365-business-central scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 20d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (via Apideck)

Access Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central through Apideck's Accounting unified API — one of 34 Accounting connectors that share the same method surface. Code you write here ports to Access Financials, Acumatica, banqUP and 30 other Accounting connectors by changing a single serviceId string. Apideck handles auth, pagination, rate limiting, and retries so you don't write per-tenant Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central plumbing.

Quick facts

At a glance

  • Implementation difficulty: moderate — Self-Service OAuth + Required Per-Consumer Environment & Company Setup
  • Vendor partnership required: no (developer portal) — Any Microsoft Entra ID app registration can connect; there is no partner programme or app review.
  • Apideck-managed credentials: available — For testing: OAuth shows "Apideck" as the requesting application. Production is bring-your-own Entra app.
  • Account type required: Business Central online (SaaS), any edition — on-premises deployments are not supported.
  • Consumer access level: Any Business Central user can authorize; a Microsoft Entra admin grants consent once per tenant.
  • Sandbox: available (signup) — Free 30-day trial (fastest route), or up to three sandbox environments included with an active Essentials or Premium subscription.
  • Costs: Microsoft publishes no separate API pricing; API access comes with the consumer's Business Central licence.
  • Rate limits: 6,000 requests per user per 5-minute sliding window; 5 concurrent requests per user.
  • Authentication: Authorization Code flow via a Microsoft Entra ID app registration.
  • Webhooks: No webhooks — Business Central changes must be polled.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
