In plain words
What is it for?
Use it for supported invoice, bill, payment, ledger-account, and journal-entry workflows in Moneybird.
Why use it?
It removes the need to build and maintain separate Moneybird authentication, pagination, rate-limit, and retry handling. The connector is in beta, so some operations may be incomplete.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00071 $0.02321
Opus 5.5 $0.00028 $0.00928
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00014 $0.00464
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00232

Security

Grade A, and why

moneybird scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 20d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Moneybird (via Apideck)

Access Moneybird through Apideck's Accounting unified API — one of 34 Accounting connectors that share the same method surface. Code you write here ports to Access Financials, Acumatica, banqUP and 30 other Accounting connectors by changing a single serviceId string. Apideck handles auth, pagination, rate limiting, and retries so you don't write per-tenant Moneybird plumbing.

Beta connector. Moneybird is currently in beta on Apideck. Expect partial resource coverage and occasional mapping gaps. Always verify coverage (see below) and fall back to the Proxy API for unsupported operations.

Quick facts

At a glance

  • Implementation difficulty: straightforward — Self-Service OAuth App + Free Sandbox — No Partnership or App Review
  • Vendor partnership required: no (developer portal) — No partner programme; register an OAuth application yourself from the developer portal, free and without approval, for an immediate Client ID and Secret.
  • Apideck-managed credentials: available — For testing: Apideck's shared app shows "Apideck" on the consent screen. Register your own Moneybird application for production.
  • Account type required: An active Moneybird administration on any paid tier; API access is not documented as gated to a specific plan.
  • Consumer access level: The owner of the administration — Moneybird requires this during authorization; a regular user cannot connect.
  • Sandbox: available (signup) — Free sandbox administrations with full feature access, creatable from any Moneybird account; invoices carry watermarks.
  • Costs: No API-specific cost — included in the consumer's Moneybird subscription. App registration and sandbox administrations are free.
  • Rate limits: 150 requests per 5 minutes per IP address; 50 per 5 minutes for reports endpoints. 429 responses carry a Retry-After header.
  • Authentication: Authorization Code flow.
  • Webhooks: No webhooks

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

It adds 71 tokens to every session and 2,321 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls).
