auto-captions-subtitles

auto-captions-subtitles is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from brajendrak00068/agentic-ai-video-production. It costs 21 tokens per session (734 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A caption tool that creates word-synchronised subtitles for videos, including animated styles and translations into other languages. The captions follow the timing of the spoken audio.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to create captions from speech, apply built-in subtitle styles, and translate the captions for viewers who speak another language.
Why use it?
Manually transcribing, timing, styling, and translating subtitles is slow. This tool handles those jobs on a video timeline.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00021 $0.00734
Opus 5.5 $0.00008 $0.00294
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00004 $0.00147
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00073

Security

Grade A, and why

auto-captions-subtitles scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Auto Captions and Subtitles

Generate synchronized word-by-word animated captions and translated subtitles for video timelines.

Setup

This skill calls the Levea (livecore.ai) editing service, which requires a Levea account and API key.

  1. Sign up and generate an API key at https://livecore.ai/?openclaw=1&utm_source=clawhub&utm_medium=skill&utm_campaign=auto-captions-subtitles
  2. Provide the key to the tool you use:
    • OpenClaw plugin openclaw-ai-video-editor (ClawHub): set apiKey in the plugin config.
    • MCP server levea-mcp-server (npm): set LEVEA_API_KEY in the MCP server config. LEVEA_API_URL is optional and defaults to https://api.livecore.ai.
  3. Describe the edit you want in plain language; the tool returns a project ID and, after export, an MP4 URL.

When to use

  • Generating word-level synchronized captions from a video audio track.
  • Styling subtitles with built-in typography presets such as karaoke or pill highlights.
  • Translating timeline captions into another language.

Tool interface

Use the registered ai-video-editor (OpenClaw plugin) or autonomous_edit (MCP server) tool to run edits against a project timeline.

Tool parameters

  • prompt (string, required): Description of the video edit to perform.
  • project_id (string, optional): Project identifier returned by a prior call for multi-turn continuity.
  • video_url (string, optional): Source video URL when starting a new project.
  • captionTemplatePreset (string, optional): Built-in caption style slug (for example hormozi, viral-pop, karaoke, minimal-pro).
  • captionTemplateMode (string, optional): One of add, recreate, style, translate, clear, remove_fillers.
  • requirePlanApproval (boolean, optional): When true, pauses after planning and returns workingMemory for user confirmation.
  • workingMemory (object, optional): State object from a paused plan-approval call.

Example tool input

{
  "prompt": "Generate word-by-word captions at the bottom of the frame using the viral-pop preset.",
  "project_id": "project_example_01"
}

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
