Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00112 | $0.05006 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00045 | $0.02002 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00022 | $0.01001 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00011 | $0.00501 |
Grade A, and why
atlassian-agent-builder scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 18d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 368 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Atlassian Agent Builder
Turn a selected workflow into a Rovo agent and, when needed, a Jira or
Confluence automation flow that a team can run where its work already lives.
Follow the Claude-native builder's source-first approach: preserve the
workflow's purpose, evidence, readable artifacts, and human interpretation
points while adapting its execution to Atlassian. This is one of the platform
builders alongside github-workflow-builder, claude-native-workflow-builder,
and productboard-agent-builder. Choosing which workflows to adopt, and
whether Atlassian is the right platform, belongs to
agentic-workflow-planner.
Choose the target and source
Default to a custom Rovo agent created in Rovo Studio, invoked in Rovo Chat or on Jira work items, with Jira or Confluence automation for schedules and events. Keep these surfaces distinct; evidence about one does not prove another:
- Rovo agent: name, description, behavior instructions, conversation starters, knowledge scope, skills, and tools. Runs with the invoking user's permissions.
- Automation flow with the Use Rovo agent action: trigger, conditions, a
prompt to a selected agent, and follow-up actions that consume
{{agentResponse}}. Runs with the permissions of the user who configured the flow. Whether the agent's own write tools run here is contested in current documentation; see the porting checklist. - Automation flow alone: deterministic rules without an agent. Prefer it when the workflow needs no judgment.
- Forge
rovo:agentapp: a developer path for custom actions that built-in tools cannot perform. Offer it only when required and name that it needs code, deployment, and an app owner. - External agent through the Atlassian Rovo MCP Server: Claude or another client operating on Jira and Confluence. This runs outside Rovo; MCP access does not mean the client can invoke or edit a saved Rovo agent.

What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

atlassian-agent-builder is a skill published in the GitHub repository chrizbo/agentics-beyond-code (34 stars, last pushed 4d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 112 tokens to every session and 5,006 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-30.
