Getting it into your agent
This one installs as part of its plugin. Adding the marketplace and installing the plugin brings it with everything else the plugin ships.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00132 | $0.02312 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00053 | $0.00925 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00026 | $0.00462 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00013 | $0.00231 |
Grade A, and why
manage-market-registry scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 211 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Manage Market Registry
Why This Exists
${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/references/supported-markets-registry.json is the
canonical taxonomy that every market-aware insight-wave plugin reads
through ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/get-market-config.py. There is one
source of truth and no sync — plugin overlays carry only plugin-specific
metadata keyed against the registry's canonical domain set, and the merge
utility joins them at read time.
This skill owns both directions over that one registry: the read path reports what the taxonomy holds and where an overlay has drifted from it, and the write path adds a market. They were two skills once, and the split cost a routing decision on every market question while giving the host router no tiebreaker — the read skill's report was reachable from the write skill as well, so one was a superset of the other in all but name.
What this skill does not do (intentionally — these are gone in the centralized model):
- No
sync— there's no copy of shared fields to propagate. - No
promote— domains live in the registry only, so there's nothing to promote from drift findings. - No
baseline-refresh— there's no baseline file because there's no drift on shared fields.
Sub-action Router
When invoked without arguments, ask the user which action to take:
Which manage-market-registry action?
1. status — coverage matrix per market across registry/research/trends, plus orphan overlay domains
2. add — interactive new-market workflow (registry-first)
Use AskUserQuestion. If $ARGUMENTS starts with one of the two sub-action
names, dispatch directly without asking.
Operations
1. status
Read-only coverage and drift report. Write nothing.
The set arithmetic behind this report is not done in prose — it is computed by a script and read back. That matters for the orphan check specifically: it was described here for a long time and computed nowhere, so nothing ever proved it could fire.
ORPHANS="${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/check-market-orphans.py"
python3 "$ORPHANS"
What ships with it
1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

manage-market-registry is a skill published in the GitHub repository cogni-work/insight-wave (13 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 132 tokens to every session and 2,312 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-14.
