Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00051 | $0.00858 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00026 | $0.00429 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00010 | $0.00172 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00005 | $0.00086 |
Grade A, and why
mcp-server-trello scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 77 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Trello MCP Server Skill
Use this skill when an agent needs to inspect or manage Trello boards through
the bundled MCP server. The skill carries its own server source in
assets/source/ and installs it locally on first use.
Activation
Before using Trello tools, verify that the local server has been installed.
- Check for a built server at:
{XDG_DATA_HOME:-$HOME/.local/share}/mcp-server-trello-skill/server/build/index.js - If it is missing, run:
bash {skill-root}/scripts/install.sh - Confirm the MCP client has
TRELLO_API_KEYandTRELLO_TOKENconfigured. Optional values areTRELLO_BOARD_ID,TRELLO_WORKSPACE_ID,https_proxy, andHTTPS_PROXY.
The install script builds from assets/source/ when Bun is available. If Bun is
not available, it falls back to the published package install path and creates a
local wrapper at the same build/index.js check path.
Reading Order
Load only the reference needed for the current Trello task.
- Start with
references/trello-mcp/README.mdfor routing. - Use
references/trello-mcp/configuration.mdfor authentication, install, and client setup. - Use
references/trello-mcp/api.mdwhen you need tool names and parameters. - Use
references/trello-mcp/patterns.mdfor common board, card, checklist, and attachment workflows. - Use
references/trello-mcp/gotchas.mdfor date formats, IDs, rate limits, and recovery steps.
Tool Routing
Choose tools by workflow, not by guessing IDs.
- Board discovery:
list_boards,set_active_board,get_active_board_info,list_workspaces,set_active_workspace,list_boards_in_workspace. - Lists and cards:
get_lists,get_cards_by_list_id,get_card,add_card_to_list,update_card_details,move_card,archive_card,copy_card,add_cards_to_list,get_my_cards,get_card_history. - Checklists:
create_checklist,get_checklist_items,add_checklist_item,find_checklist_items_by_description,get_acceptance_criteria,get_checklist_by_name,update_checklist_item,delete_checklist_item,copy_checklist. - Comments:
add_comment,update_comment,delete_comment,get_card_comments. - Attachments:
attach_image_to_card,attach_file_to_card,attach_image_data_to_card,download_attachment. - Labels and members:
get_board_labels,create_label,update_label,delete_label,get_board_members,assign_member_to_card,remove_member_from_card. - Health:

What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
- 3d ago First seen · 77 lines · 51 tokens per session scan A f180e2cb513d
mcp-server-trello is a skill published in the GitHub repository delorenj/mcp-server-trello (437 stars, last pushed 9d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 51 tokens to every session and 858 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-03.
