myers-briggs-type-indicator

myers-briggs-type-indicator is a skill for Claude Code from fatihguner/foreman. It costs 81 tokens per session (3,626 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guide to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, a personality questionnaire that groups preferences for taking in information and making decisions into 16 types. It presents the framework as a shared language for discussing differences, not as a reliable prediction of ability.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to discuss co-founder or team differences, adapt communication, and consider a mix of working styles when forming a team.
Why use it?
It can give teams a simple way to discuss communication friction without treating different working styles as personal failings.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00081 $0.03626
Opus 5 $0.00041 $0.01813
Sonnet 5 $0.00016 $0.00725
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00363

Security

Grade A, and why

myers-briggs-type-indicator scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator

The most widely administered personality instrument in the world -- taken by an estimated 50 million people and used by 88% of Fortune 500 companies -- is one that a significant portion of academic psychologists consider scientifically dubious. That tension is itself instructive. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, developed by Katharine Cook Briggs and her daughter Isabel Briggs Myers based on Carl Jung's theory of psychological types, persists not because it meets the psychometric standards of the Big Five personality model but because it does something the Big Five does not: it gives people a shared, non-judgmental language for talking about differences in how they perceive the world and make decisions. For entrepreneurs building teams under pressure, MBTI's value is practical rather than predictive. It does not tell you who will succeed. It tells you why your co-founder's approach to deadlines drives you to distraction, and why your head of sales and your head of engineering seem to be speaking different languages even when they agree on the goal.

The Framework

MBTI classifies personality along four dichotomies, producing 16 possible type combinations. Each dichotomy represents a preference -- not an ability, not a fixed trait, but a tendency toward one mode of functioning over another. The analogy is handedness: most people can write with either hand, but one feels natural and the other requires effort.

The Four Dichotomies

1. Extraversion (E) vs. Introversion (I) -- Energy Direction

Extraversion Introversion
Energised by external interaction Energised by internal reflection
Thinks out loud; processes through conversation Thinks internally; processes before speaking
Breadth of relationships Depth of relationships
Action-oriented; prefers to act, then reflect Reflection-oriented; prefers to reflect, then act

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
