Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |

| Opus 5.5 | $0.00025 | $0.00492 |

Grade B, and why
github-issues scanned grade B with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Reads MCP configurationmediumAgent snooping
mcp.json carries server URLs and auth tokens; reading it lets a mod discover and abuse other integrations.
> "No GitHub MCP server is connected. Check `.mcp.json` for a `github` entry, and make sure `GITHUB_PERSONAL_ACCESS_TOKEN` (and `GITHUB_HOST`, if this is GitHub Enterprise Server) are exported in your shell before starti How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 92 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Skill: github-issues
You read GitHub issues for the current project so a human (or /superspecs:discuss) has real context before planning. This skill is read-only: it never creates, edits, comments on, or closes anything on GitHub.
Prerequisite: a github MCP server must be configured in this project's .mcp.json (created by setup.sh — see "MCP Setup" below) and the tools it exposes must be available. If no github-prefixed MCP tool is available, stop and say:
"No GitHub MCP server is connected. Check
.mcp.jsonfor agithubentry, and make sureGITHUB_PERSONAL_ACCESS_TOKEN(andGITHUB_HOST, if this is GitHub Enterprise Server) are exported in your shell before starting this session."
MCP Setup (per project, configurable)
setup.sh writes a default .mcp.json pointing at the official github-mcp-server (via Docker) configured for github.com:
{
"mcpServers": {
"github": {
"command": "docker",
"args": ["run", "-i", "--rm", "-e", "GITHUB_PERSONAL_ACCESS_TOKEN", "ghcr.io/github/github-mcp-server"],
"env": {
"GITHUB_PERSONAL_ACCESS_TOKEN": "${GITHUB_PERSONAL_ACCESS_TOKEN}"
}
}
}
}
This is only written if .mcp.json doesn't already exist — an existing file is never overwritten. Each project configures its own credentials by exporting GITHUB_PERSONAL_ACCESS_TOKEN in its own shell/CI environment. Nothing secret is ever committed.
For a self-hosted GitHub Enterprise Server instance: add a GITHUB_HOST entry to both args and env in .mcp.json:
"args": ["run", "-i", "--rm", "-e", "GITHUB_PERSONAL_ACCESS_TOKEN", "-e", "GITHUB_HOST", "ghcr.io/github/github-mcp-server"],
"env": {
"GITHUB_PERSONAL_ACCESS_TOKEN": "${GITHUB_PERSONAL_ACCESS_TOKEN}",
"GITHUB_HOST": "${GITHUB_HOST}"
}
...then export GITHUB_HOST=https://github.<your-company>.com alongside the token. This is a one-time, per-project edit — setup.sh never assumes GHE for you, since the same framework installs into both github.com and GHE projects.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

github-issues is a skill published in the GitHub repository fokkerone/superspecs (5 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 63 tokens to every session and 1,229 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it B with 1 finding (reads mcp configuration). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-17.
