account-pool

account-pool is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from get-bb/bb. It costs 24 tokens per session (234 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A skill for managing and diagnosing Account Pooler accounts, authentication, quota routing, and failover through the `bb pool` command. It inspects account and route state before making requested changes.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to list accounts, inspect routing, handle supported login or import flows, adjust ordering, and confirm failover or resulting route state.
Why use it?
It helps route work between accounts while keeping credentials out of command arguments and chat. It also avoids changing accounts or enabling the plugin unless the task explicitly asks for it.

About the project

bb is an agentic IDE that lets users control, customize, and automate a software-development environment through a desktop app, web app, command-line interface, or HTTP API. Developers use it to run work in observable threads that can be steered or handed off to other agents. Its catalogue add-ons provide skills and instructions for working with bb.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00024 $0.00234
Opus 5.5 $0.00010 $0.00094
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00005 $0.00047
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00023

Measured 6d ago against content hash 771ce41b21ce, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

account-pool scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Account Pooler

Use bb pool for this plugin's accounts and routes. Inspect current state with bb pool status --json and bb pool account list --json before changing routing. Use bb pool --help for available commands.

For account login/import, secret handling, quota refresh, routing settings, ordering, or failover, read references/accounts-and-routing.md.

Use stdin or supported login/import flows for credentials; never put secret values in command arguments or chat. Confirm the resulting account and routing state. Do not enable the plugin or change accounts unless the requested task calls for it.

Pooled rate-limit failures can be retried by Provider Retry using the pool’s earliest usable account, even if the provider omits structured quota events. Inspect bb provider-retry explain <thread-id> --json for the last decision and bb provider-retry status <thread-id> --json for pending retries.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
