Diffuse-Native-Apps: Skill for Claude Code

.agents/skills/native-apps/SKILL.md

native-apps is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from hoangsonww/Diffuse-Native-Apps. It costs 39 tokens per session (322 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of rules for changing the user interface of Diffuse's Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch apps. It explains which platform code is appropriate and gives project commands for building and running each app.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when changing a screen, widget, Watch complication, menu-bar item, preferences area, or other native Apple-app behavior.
Why use it?
It prevents platform-specific screens and build steps from being added in ways that conflict with the app's shared design. It also avoids relying on manually selected simulator identifiers or unsupported build commands.

Written for no agent in particular: nothing here depends on one. Also seen: installed under .agents/ (shared by several agents); mentions AGENTS.md.

This is hoangsonww/Diffuse-Native-Apps's own configuration. It tells Claude Code and Codex how to work on Diffuse-Native-Apps itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything Diffuse-Native-Apps configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00039 $0.00322
Opus 5.5 $0.00016 $0.00129
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00008 $0.00064
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00032

Measured yesterday against content hash 16d84b200a1d, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

native-apps scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Native apps

Four apps, one DiffuseUI. Platform code only for platform mechanisms (menu bar extra, widgets, complications, BGAppRefresh, Watch refresh).

  • No per-capability screens. Lists, inspectors, and search are generic on schema.
  • iPad regular width always shows three columns (IPadRootView.threeColumnWorkspace).
  • Mac Snapshots inspector auto-selects the latest snapshot.
  • Preferences (DiffusePreferences) already cover retention, redaction, schedule, search.
  • Unsigned CI builds: never add a development team to project.yml.

Build and run without opening Xcode or looking up a simulator UDID:

make ios-run # DiffuseiOS on an iPhone simulator
make ipados-run # DiffuseiPadOS on an iPad simulator
make watch-run # DiffuseWatch on a watch simulator
make mac-run # DiffuseMac on this machine
make apple-devices

Each resolves and boots the right device family. Pin one with DIFFUSE_SIMULATOR_ID. Use these rather than calling xcrun or xcodebuild bare; Scripts/apple.sh handles project generation, device resolution, install, and launch.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

native-apps is a skill published in the GitHub repository hoangsonww/Diffuse-Native-Apps (11 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 39 tokens to every session and 322 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-07.
