Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |

Grade A, and why
dataset-report scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
What it actually says
Dataset Report
Deliver data.csv, plot.png, dataset-report.md and
clio-dataset-report.json in a new output directory. This bounded workflow
supports a numeric table with a selected value column: source and CSV at most
64 MiB, CSV at most 100,000 rows. Stop and explain when those limits do not fit;
do not silently sample and report whole-data statistics.
Discover the HDF5, Pandas and Plot MCP tools. Inspect HDF5 metadata, dataset shape and supplied column names/units before reading. Ask for the dataset path or column meaning when ambiguous; do not infer physical units from values.
Before data operations, run the helper beside this skill (resolve its absolute path from this installed skill directory):
python3 /absolute/path/to/this/skill/scripts/verify_report.py prepare --source /absolute/input.h5 --output /absolute/new-report --column signal_mV
It records the source hash and planned output paths. Preserve this baseline on retries. Hashing reads the source file; it is intentionally limited to 64 MiB.
- Open the HDF5 source read-only. Inspect the chosen dataset and export its
numeric values with
export_datasetas JSON. Close the file afterward. - Map the exported matrix to the metadata's named columns. Use Pandas
save_datawithdata={"time_s": [...], "signal_mV": [...]}andindex=Falseto writedata.csv. Acolumns/dataenvelope loses names. Compare saved rows and column names against the exported values; this is the provenance check the helper cannot perform. - Call Pandas
statistical_summaryon the selected CSV column. Record unroundedcount, mean, median(the returned50%),minandmaxin the manifest'sstatisticsobject, preserving its other fields. - Use Plot
line_plotfor an actual ordered axis orhistogram_plotfor a distribution; follow the live tool schema. Saveplot.pngand inspect it. - Write
dataset-report.md: source/dataset, columns and units, row count, the five statistics, figure, data handoff and limitations. Counts have no units; mean/median/min/max retain the measurement units. State observed patterns separately from models. CV/skewness alone cannot establish growth; no fit, mechanism or extrapolation is established by this workflow. Derive any reported interval or rate from the actual ordered time/value pairs and show the calculation; otherwise omit it. - Run the helper's
check /absolute/new-report/clio-dataset-report.json. Fix concrete failures without changing the original baseline. The native package's client hook runs the same read-only check after native write/edit of the manifest or report. Shell/MCP writes do not trigger this hook, so the explicit final check remains required. A hook message is feedback, not a prevention mechanism or a scientific certification. - Give the raw data, report and helper output to the installed
scientific-evidence-reviewer. Claude's native marketplace names itclio-agents:scientific-evidence-reviewer; project installations use its unqualified name. In OpenCode, request that named subagent. In Codex, use the named agent when discovered, or runclio-kit plugin run-agent scientific-evidence-reviewer --client codex --project /absolute/project --prompt "Review these observed results: ...". Supply actual evidence in the prompt; do not invent a review response. If discovery, sandbox access or the provider blocks review, report independent review as unavailable. Treat reviewer corrections as claims requiring evidence, not authority.
Keep the final response to verified project-relative output paths, the five checked statistics, check/review status and limitations. Do not introduce numerical claims absent from the reviewed report. A PASS establishes CSV numeric checks, source integrity and output presence; it does not establish HDF5→CSV fidelity, plot semantics, the truth of prose or a fitted scientific model.
What ships with it
2 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

dataset-report is a skill published in the GitHub repository iowarp/clio-kit (30 stars, last pushed 8d ago), licensed BSD-3-Clause. It adds 46 tokens to every session and 987 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-08.
