jp-lit-tei

jp-lit-tei is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from itarunnn/jp-lit-mcp. It costs 77 tokens per session (977 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A research skill for finding public Japanese-literature TEI files and reading their structured XML content. TEI is a format for marking up texts, such as chapters, notes, variants, and references, in XML.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to search for Japanese literature, inspect saved TEI/XML files, locate textual units, extract them, and check references.
Why use it?
It keeps the retrieved edition, file identity, locations, and original structure separate from the agent's interpretation.

Written for no agent in particular: nothing here depends on one.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00077 $0.00977
Opus 5.5 $0.00031 $0.00391
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00015 $0.00195
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00098

Security

Grade A, and why

jp-lit-tei scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 14d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

<codex_skill_adapter>

npx --yes --package=jp-lit-mcp jp-lit-tei-reader --request /absolute/path/request.json

readerにはuvとPython3.13が必要。 CLIの起動失敗は runtime_launch_failed を返す。

extract_unit listが返したlocator 原要素・属性・text/comment/PI順序
check_references 同じhash・任意のscope_xpath 選択範囲の集計と参照の起点/解決先

extractはchoice/subst/noteの各枝と原属性を保持する。selection_applied=false、reading_text=nullを維持し、こちらが枝を選んだ解釈を別欄へ置く。

manifest_claimsの一致はlocal path/hash/bytesの対応であり、公開URL/commitの独立照合とは区別する。

hash_mismatchは版と台帳を再確認し、unit_too_large/output_too_largeは単位・ページを縮小する。

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
