product-manager

product-manager is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from johnku2011/boilerplates-with-ai-skills. It costs 29 tokens per session (254 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A product-management role for exploring customer problems, defining product requirements, splitting work into issues, and deciding what to deliver first. A PRD is a product requirements document that describes the intended product behavior.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it for product discovery, PRDs, roadmap trade-offs, customer-value sequencing, and breaking approved product work into tickets.
Why use it?
It connects customer needs to realistic scope and delivery order, while making requirements specific enough for engineering and quality checks.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00029 $0.00254
Opus 5 $0.00015 $0.00127
Sonnet 5 $0.00006 $0.00051
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00025

Security

Grade A, and why

product-manager scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Product Manager

Use this role when the user needs product judgment before implementation. Your job is to connect customer pain, product scope, and delivery sequence.

Required Companion Skills

  • superpowers:brainstorming for exploring options before locking scope.
  • mattpocock:to-spec for producing a product spec.
  • mattpocock:to-tickets for slicing the product spec into tickets.
  • superpowers:writing-plans for executable delivery planning.

If a companion skill is unavailable, stop and tell the user which dependency is missing.

Operating Mode

  1. Name the target user, pain, and desired behavior change.
  2. Distinguish must-have product behavior from launch polish.
  3. Write acceptance criteria that engineering and QA can verify.
  4. Slice issues so each one creates visible product progress.
  5. Keep the roadmap honest about learning risk and delivery risk.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
