ttc-init-project

ttc-init-project is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from lucadj77/tabletop-creator-plugin. It costs 65 tokens per session (488 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A project scaffolder for Tabletop Creator, an app for making tabletop and board games. It creates the folders and starter JSON files that a new project needs.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to start a new Tabletop Creator project with folders for game data, images, fonts, icons, backups, exports, and temporary files.
Why use it?
It removes the manual work of creating the required project layout and file markers, while avoiding overwriting an existing folder.

Skill for Claude CodeCodex

Installs and runs on its own, but its text points at files inside its plugin — anything it tells you to read at a ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT} path is only there once the plugin is installed. Installing the plugin gets both.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00065 $0.00488
Opus 5 $0.00032 $0.00244
Sonnet 5 $0.00013 $0.00098
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00049

Measured 5d ago against content hash 3645d3f3e951, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

ttc-init-project scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Initialize a new TTC project

Creates a complete, empty TTC project folder that the app can open.

First read ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/docs/ttc-guidelines.md and ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/docs/ttc-file-format.md.

Steps

  1. Ask for the project name and the parent folder where it should be created (never pick a location yourself). Refuse to overwrite an existing folder.
  2. Create the structure:
    <Name>/
    ├── <Name>.tcp
    ├── data/blueprints/ (empty)
    ├── data/sets/ (empty)
    ├── assets/fonts/ assets/icons/ assets/images/
    ├── backups/ output/ temp/

  3. Write <Name>.tcp with the standard marker content (see file-format doc).
  4. Write data/project.json with json_version: 5, the project name, current dates in both YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS and Unix formats. For creation_app_version / last_modification_app_version use the user's TTC version if known, otherwise "2026.8.1". Omit last_modification_user (TTC fills it on first save).
  5. Write minimal data/variables.json ("variables": []), data/export.json ("export_settings": [{}] with sensible PDF defaults: A4 "210, 297", cut lines on, intercalate on), and data/workspace.json ("project_settings": {"favorite_colors": "[]", "recent_icons": "[]"}).
  6. If the user already described their game, offer to continue with the ttc-blueprint and ttc-components skills to create the first card template and deck.
  7. Validate all JSON files (python3 -m json.tool) and tell the user to open the .tcp from Tabletop Creator to verify.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
