level

level is a skill for Claude Code from matteotitta/genesys-skills. It costs 169 tokens per session (3,091 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

An assessment of how mature a Claude Code setup is, scored on a 0-to-10 ladder across four areas of use.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to review a Claude Code setup, see its current level, get a roadmap to the next level, and view the result as a dashboard.
Why use it?
It shows where an environment has gaps and identifies a focused next improvement instead of relying on an informal self-assessment.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00169 $0.03091
Opus 5 $0.00084 $0.01545
Sonnet 5 $0.00034 $0.00618
Haiku 4.5 $0.00017 $0.00309

Security

Grade A, and why

level scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

/level — the 10 levels of Claude Code

Situation. Most people using Claude Code have no idea how much of it they're actually using — they type prompts into a terminal and stop there, or they've built a deep system and can't see the gaps. Complication. There's no honest, repeatable way to answer "how good is my setup, really, and what's the single next thing to build?" Generic "10 levels of AI" lists don't measure Claude Code specifically, and self-assessment drifts. Question. Where are you on the Claude Code mastery curve, and what's the one move that levels you up? Answer. This skill scores you 0-10 on a ladder calibrated to the 4 systems pillars, benchmarked against the most advanced documented setup + the latest Anthropic features, then hands you a focused roadmap and a shareable dashboard.

This is NOT the generic "10 levels of Claude" (browser, desktop, projects). It's specifically Claude Code mastery. Level 0 is "just installed it." Level 10 is genuinely rare — it's the documented ceiling in the premium reference.

Pick a front door → Score it → Show the roadmap → Render dashboard → Build first step
       ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓
quiz or scan 0-10 + 4 pillars next level only HTML (shareable) optional

Designed to be re-run. Every time you level up, the score updates.

Modes and flags

Parse the user's input for flags. Defaults shown.

Flag Effect
--mode beginner (default) "Knowledgeable friend" voice (see tone rules below). Default brand = GTM Engineer School (or template defaults). Default front door = quiz.
--mode internal Operator-terse voice for self/team audits. Default brand = Genesys Growth kit. Default front door = scan.
--brand-kit <path> Brand the HTML dashboard from a specific brand kit (a DESIGN.md with token frontmatter). Overrides the mode's default brand. --brand-kit none forces the plain dark defaults.
--format html (default) | ascii | both Output shape. html = the branded dashboard. ascii = a fixed-width, paste-anywhere result card (best for sharing — Slack / LinkedIn / a code block). both = render each.
--quiz Force the interactive quiz front door (works with zero setup; shareable).
--assess Force the silent file scan, then stop after the assessment (no roadmap/build).
--build Skip assessment; jump straight to building the next step (asks current level first).

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
