three.ws: Skill for Claude Code

.agents/skills/sell-an-agent-skill/SKILL.md

sell-an-agent-skill is a skill for Claude Code from nirholas/three.ws. It costs 134 tokens per session (2,919 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A procedure for publishing a three.ws agent skill as a paid marketplace offering. It supports charging for each call, offering a limited free trial, and receiving payments in $THREE or USDC, a digital dollar token.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to publish, price, trial, and collect payment for an agent skill through three.ws.
Why use it?
It explains the difference between listing a skill in the catalog and pricing one capability of an agent, so earnings and access are set up in the right place.

Skill for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: when-to-use in frontmatter. Also seen: positional $N argument; installed under .agents/ (shared by several agents).

This is nirholas/three.ws's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on three.ws itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything three.ws configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00134 $0.02919
Opus 5.5 $0.00054 $0.01168
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00027 $0.00584
Haiku 4.5 $0.00013 $0.00292

Measured 14d ago against content hash 79684f7d88dd, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

sell-an-agent-skill scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 14d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Not a fault in itself. Listed so you know the mod talks to something, and to what.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 244 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Sell an agent skill

A priced skill earns per call, not per install and not per month. Two rails credit the same author ledger: the public x402 endpoint any wallet can hit, and in-app calls from agents running on three.ws. The author's share routes to the author's own wallet at settlement, Solana first.

The promoted currency here is $THREE (FeMbDoX7R1Psc4GEcvJdsbNbZA3bfztcyDCatJVJpump). USDC is supported, and priced skills default to USDC when no mint is named, so pass the $THREE mint explicitly when the user wants to sell in $THREE.

Everything below needs an API key with write scope, minted at three.ws/dashboard/api:

export THREE_WS_KEY='sk_live_...'

Two things called "selling a skill"

Pick the right one before you start. They live in different tables and behave differently.

Catalog skill (marketplace listing) Agent skill price
What it is A row in the public skills catalog with a slug, schema, and content A price attached to one capability of one agent you own
Who can call it Anyone with a wallet, over x402 Buyers of that agent's skill, in-app or via Solana Pay
Priced by price_per_call_usd at publish PUT /api/monetization/prices or bulk pricing
Browse at three.ws/skills The agent's page, Skills tab
Paid rail GET /api/x402/skill-call?skill=<slug> Purchase, trial, or in-app delegation

Doing both is normal: publish the catalog listing so strangers can pay per call, and price it on your agent so the marketplace surfaces it too.

1. Publish to the catalog

curl -s https://three.ws/api/skills \
  -H "authorization: Bearer $THREE_WS_KEY" \
  -H 'content-type: application/json' \
  -d '{

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
