Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00123 | $0.01433 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00062 | $0.00717 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00025 | $0.00287 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00012 | $0.00143 |
Grade A, and why
fundraising-agents scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 93 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Fundraising agents, scouts & syndicates (network-bringing paths)
When you've exhausted your own warm intros, the next lever is people/channels that bring their network: fundraising agents (FAs / placement agents), VC scouts, angel syndicates, and accelerators. Some are gold; some are predatory or actively harm your raise. This skill helps you use the right ones and vet the rest.
Read shared/references/outreach-ethics.md first. The honest line: a good
channel opens real doors; a bad one costs money, signals weakness, or is a scam.
The options (and where each fits)
| Channel | What it is | Fit | Signal to VCs |
|---|---|---|---|
| VC scout | someone with a scout check + network, sourcing for a fund | great at pre-seed/seed | positive (a fund's person likes you) |
| Angel syndicate | a lead + backers who co-invest and vouch | strong early; brings a crowd | positive |
| Accelerator | program + demo day + intro machine (YC, Techstars, sector/regional) | excellent warm-intro engine + credibility | positive |
| Operator angel | an operator who invests + intros peers | fast, warm, high-trust | positive |
| FA / placement agent | raises for you, usually % success fee (± retainer) | use with care — see below | often NEGATIVE at pre-seed |
The honest truth about FAs at early stage
- Many US VCs read "pre-seed founder using a broker" as a negative signal — it suggests you can't get your own warm intros. At pre-seed/seed, prefer scouts, syndicates, accelerators, and direct warm paths.
- Pure success-fee-only FAs at pre-seed skew low-quality (spray-and-pray to their list, which can burn investors on you). Reputable placement agents usually work later stage / larger rounds and are selective.
- FAs make more sense: larger rounds, later stage, a specific market you can't reach (e.g., a foreign founder needing US investors — where a credible, connected agent genuinely bridges the gap).
- Cross-border / China note: FA (融资顾问) is more normal and expected in China early-stage than in the US. If you're raising USD from US investors, weigh the US signal; if raising RMB, an FA is more accepted.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

fundraising-agents is a skill published in the GitHub repository oncesylvia/fundraising-skills (4 stars, last pushed 2mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 123 tokens to every session and 1,433 once invoked, about $0.0006 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
