onescience-data-standardizer

onescience-data-standardizer is a skill for Claude Code from onescience-ai/OneSkills. It costs 153 tokens per session (3,991 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A data-standardization skill that converts raw datasets into AI-ready datasets for computational fluid dynamics, biology, climate, and materials chemistry. It works on local files and registers the resulting datasets in the project’s data-management record.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to locate or obtain a dataset, apply the required domain specification, convert it locally, and register the output.
Why use it?
It provides a defined path from varied raw data to a common format without mixing in model training or evaluation. It can use a built-in converter or create one for the requested dataset format.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

Security

Grade A, and why

onescience-data-standardizer scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 13 executable files (scripts/adapters/_base.py, scripts/adapters/bio/targetdiff.py, scripts/adapters/cfd/channel_flow_dns.py, …), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 269 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

  1. 上下文 handoff(默认):从调用方传入的 step_handoff 获取任务信息。
  2. 文件 handoff(autonomous_mode):从 .onescience/handoff/step_{step_id}.yaml 读取任务信息。执行后,将结果写入 .onescience/handoff/step_{step_id}_result.yaml。

文件交接格式参见 skills/onescience-orchestrator/references/file_handoff_contract.md。

OneScience Data Standardizer

  • 要求把处理结果注册到数据管理清单(~/.onescience/data_management.json),并 / 或上报给宿主 Agent(dataset_report)。

  • 严格遵守 primitives 强制协议:只通过 resource_retrieval_request → resource_retrieval_result 拿内容,不得直接 Read/Glob primitives 的 assets/。

  • 通过 resource_retrieval_request 从 onescience-primitives 拉取目标数据集的 spec.md + usage.md。
  • 选择转换器:Tier1(预置 adapter)或 Tier2(LLM 现场合成 convert_*.py)。
  • 合并写入 ~/.onescience/data_management.json。
  • 探测宿主 Agent 是否提供 dataset_report 工具;命中则以 {name, target_dir, source_dir} 调用。

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

onescience-data-standardizer is a skill published in the GitHub repository onescience-ai/OneSkills (24 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 153 tokens to every session and 3,991 once invoked, about $0.0006 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (runs shell commands). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-15.
