Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00070 | $0.02561 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00028 | $0.01024 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00014 | $0.00512 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00007 | $0.00256 |
Grade A, and why
living-story-web scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 165 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Living Story Web
Create a working, original illustrated experience appropriate to the current project. Treat creative direction, asset production, animation engineering, and browser verification as one workflow. Do not stop at a prompt, storyboard, or animation-library installation unless that is the requested deliverable.
Overview
Living-story web turns a page into a directed experience: scroll position drives a normalized timeline that choreographs panels, camera, environment, and an articulated protagonist. The result reads like an interactive manhwa — match cuts, panel crossings, scale journeys — without a video file or a game engine.
Three layers make it work:
- Asset layer — layered character artwork, a rigged model, or a dense frame sequence. See Animation production.
- Timeline layer — native scroll mapped to progress, damped over time, driving scene state. See Implementation and Code patterns.
- Direction layer — a thesis and storyboard that decide what moves and why. See Direction.
The bar is real motion, not decoration: a character that walks, turns, and carries weight — verified in forward, reverse, stop, and large-jump scrolling.
When to Use
Use this skill when a website needs immersive illustrated storytelling, interactive-comic structure, articulated character or object motion, or cinematic choreography driven by scrolling. It is suitable for narrative marketing pages and focused explanatory experiences, provided the underlying product remains directly usable. Do not use it for routine interface edits, standalone image creation, or ordinary dashboards without a narrative requirement.
When NOT to Use
- Routine UI edits, dashboards, or admin screens with no narrative requirement.
- Standalone illustration or image generation (use content-generation skills instead).
- High-conversion transactional surfaces (checkout, search) where every scroll costs revenue and the product must be one click away.
- Performance-critical pages that cannot afford a WebGL/Canvas frame budget on low-end devices.
- When the only available asset is a single flat illustration — you can add depth and secondary motion, but not articulated walking.
- When a plain
IntersectionObserverfade already satisfies the brief.
What ships with it
8 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

living-story-web is a skill published in the GitHub repository oyi77/1ai-skills (17 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 70 tokens to every session and 2,561 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-24.
