outreach-brief-generator

outreach-brief-generator is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from spiralcrew-ou/profilespider-agent-skills. It costs 54 tokens per session (430 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A tool that turns structured research about a prospect or company into a short preparation brief for outreach. It summarizes context, evidence-based angles, and claims that still need checking.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to prepare pre-call or pre-email notes, organize account and contact research, identify supported pain points, and list facts to verify.
Why use it?
It saves time when preparing for a call or email while reducing made-up personalization and unsupported claims. It prepares outreach but does not send it.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00054 $0.00430
Opus 5 $0.00027 $0.00215
Sonnet 5 $0.00011 $0.00086
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00043

Security

Grade A, and why

outreach-brief-generator scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Outreach Brief Generator

Purpose

Convert structured prospect research into concise outreach preparation briefs.

When to use this skill

  • Pre-call and pre-email preparation
  • Turning research into a usable brief
  • Grounding personalization in evidence
  • Standardizing outreach prep across a team

When not to use this skill

  • You have no underlying research yet
  • You want messages sent automatically (this only prepares)
  • You expect invented personalization (it will not guess)

Required inputs

  • Structured prospect or account research

Optional inputs

  • Your offering and value props
  • The outreach channel
  • A specific contact

Rules

  1. Use only the supplied research and context.
  2. Do not invent personalization, facts, or quotes.
  3. Separate evidence from assumptions explicitly.
  4. List claims requiring verification.
  5. Produce a brief; never send outreach.

Process

  1. Parse the research and any offering context.
  2. Summarize the account and contact context.
  3. Derive evidence-based pain points and an angle.
  4. Cite supporting evidence.
  5. List claims requiring verification.

Output format

Return one brief per prospect with the following fields:

  • account_summary
  • relevant_contact_context
  • potential_pain_points
  • supporting_evidence
  • conversation_angle
  • claims_requiring_verification

Validation

  • Confirm every point cites research evidence.
  • Confirm assumptions are flagged for verification.
  • Confirm nothing was fabricated.

Limitations

  • Brief quality depends on the input research.
  • Pain points are hypotheses to confirm, not facts.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
