Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

Grade A, and why
switchboard-orchestration scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
This is a copy
95% identical to switchboard-mission-control-http — 2 lines differ, which has more behind it and is treated as the original. This page carries a canonical link to it rather than competing with it.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 462 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Skill: Switchboard Orchestration HTTP Surface
This is the complete HTTP contract for driving Switchboard from outside the VS Code webview — whether you are a fleet coding/review agent working inside a Mission Control worktree, an external Mission Control (Cursor / Zed / Claude Code / Antigravity) driving the whole board, or a team member (a discoverable-skill agent) reading the local board.
Switchboard's LocalApiServer runs inside the VS Code extension and is the sole writer of
kanban.db. You never touch the DB directly — you call these endpoints. The board is the source
of truth; the UI is just one view of it.
Endpoint inventory. The hand-written list below is a subset for the calls agents most often make. The authoritative, generated inventory is
GET /catalog— it lists every verb, endpoint, and prefix the server actually serves (drift-checked in CI viacatalog:check), so it can never lag behind the server the way a hand-maintained list can. When you need a call this document does not cover, hitGET /catalogfirst; the payload contract for any call below still lives here, since the catalog carries only{path, method, prefix}and not request shapes.
Behavior vs. invocation. This skill is the invocation authority (endpoints, verbs, payload fields). For behavior contracts — how the system behaves (cards move on coding start, completion = plan-file mtime advance, plan files are write-once-at-the-end, subtask column exclusion) — consult the
switchboard-contractsprotocol (switchboard api GET /protocol/switchboard-contracts). Never consult that skill for invocation; never consult this skill for behavior conventions.
1. Bootstrap
Verify Switchboard is up before anything else:
switchboard api GET /health # -> { status: 'ok', port, roots: [...] }
If switchboard api fails with server not running, Switchboard is not running —
tell the user to open the workspace in VS Code with the Switchboard extension active (or run the standalone host). Do not fall
back to editing kanban.db directly.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

switchboard-orchestration is a skill published in the GitHub repository TentacleOpera/switchboard (214 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 8,655 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. It is 95% identical to switchboard-mission-control-http, differing in 2 lines, and is treated as a copy.
