uno: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/speckit-specify/SKILL.md

speckit-specify is a skill for Claude Code from unoplatform/uno. It costs 19 tokens per session (3,683 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A tool that turns a plain-language description of a software feature into a written feature specification. A feature specification records what should be built and how it should behave.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when starting or updating a feature proposal from a natural-language request.
Why use it?
It gives development work a clear written starting point before implementation begins, reducing ambiguity about the requested feature.

About the project

Uno Platform is an open-source .NET development platform that lets developers build native mobile, web, desktop, and embedded applications from one C# and XAML codebase. It is intended for .NET developers who want to share application code across multiple operating systems and device types. The catalogue entries support development workflows for Uno Platform with skills, agents, commands, and instructions.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00019 $0.03683
Opus 5 $0.00010 $0.01842
Sonnet 5 $0.00004 $0.00737
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00368

Security

Grade A, and why

speckit-specify scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Pre-Execution Checks

Check for extension hooks (before specification):

  • Check if .specify/extensions.yml exists in the project root.
  • If it exists, read it and look for entries under the hooks.before_specify key
  • If the YAML cannot be parsed or is invalid, skip hook checking silently and continue normally
  • Filter out hooks where enabled is explicitly false. Treat hooks without an enabled field as enabled by default.
  • For each remaining hook, do not attempt to interpret or evaluate hook condition expressions:
    • If the hook has no condition field, or it is null/empty, treat the hook as executable
    • If the hook defines a non-empty condition, skip the hook and leave condition evaluation to the HookExecutor implementation
  • When constructing slash commands from hook command names, replace dots (.) with hyphens (-). For example, speckit.git.commit/speckit-git-commit.
  • For each executable hook, output the following based on its optional flag:
    • Optional hook (optional: true):
      ## Extension Hooks

      **Optional Pre-Hook**: {extension}
      Command: `/{command}`
      Description: {description}

      Prompt: {prompt}
      To execute: `/{command}`

    • Mandatory hook (optional: false):
      ## Extension Hooks

      **Automatic Pre-Hook**: {extension}
      Executing: `/{command}`
      EXECUTE_COMMAND: {command}

      Wait for the result of the hook command before proceeding to the Outline.

  • If no hooks are registered or .specify/extensions.yml does not exist, skip silently

Outline

The text the user typed after /speckit.specify in the triggering message is the feature description. Assume you always have it available in this conversation even if $ARGUMENTS appears literally below. Do not ask the user to repeat it unless they provided an empty command.

Given that feature description, do this:

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
