calib-pattern-generator

calib-pattern-generator is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from wangyendt/wayne-skills. It costs 81 tokens per session (1,508 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A tool for generating printable vector PDF camera-calibration boards, including checkerboards, ChArUco boards, AprilGrids, and circular-dot patterns. Camera calibration boards help software measure a camera's geometry and lens distortion.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to create a precisely sized calibration target for computer-vision cameras, including checkerboard, ChArUco, AprilGrid, symmetric-circle, or asymmetric-circle layouts.
Why use it?
It avoids manually creating patterns with dimensions that could be unsuitable for calibration. It asks for required measurements and can generate the PDF online or locally when online generation is unavailable.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00081 $0.01508
Opus 5.5 $0.00032 $0.00603
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00016 $0.00302
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00151

Security

Grade A, and why

calib-pattern-generator scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 1 executable file (scripts/generate_pattern.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

dictionary, id, legacy ChArUco:DICT_4X4 / DICT_5X5 / DICT_6X6 / DICT_7X7,起始 ID(可为 0),兼容模式 true/false(须确认)

要求 Python 3.9+;缺少依赖时安装 scripts/requirements.txt。

python <SKILL_DIR>/scripts/generate_pattern.py \
  --target checker --width 200 --height 150 \
  --rows 8 --columns 11 --spacing 15 \
  --output /absolute/output/checker.pdf

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

calib-pattern-generator is a skill published in the GitHub repository wangyendt/wayne-skills (9 stars, last pushed 7d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 81 tokens to every session and 1,508 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-24.
