quantum-molecular-dmrg

quantum-molecular-dmrg is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from xi-zhao/OpenQuantum. It costs 82 tokens per session (1,091 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A local open-source workflow for molecular density matrix renormalization group (DMRG), a method for estimating molecular quantum states and energies. It combines PySCF molecular integrals with quimb's tensor-network calculations.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to prepare active-space molecular inputs, run or change DMRG examples, and inspect convergence and numerical results. It can also generate reviewable task code for different ansatzes, boundary conditions, or outputs.
Why use it?
It lets developers explain, run, and modify this molecular quantum calculation without relying on a closed-source state-preparation component. It also states limits such as the potentially exponential memory needed to prepare a dense Hamiltonian.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

Security

Grade A, and why

quantum-molecular-dmrg scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

molecular_dmrg

上游指南 ID:algorithms/quantum-chemistry/molecular-dmrg。

  4. 使用 Harness 已有的 bash(Windows 为 pwsh)Tool 执行。

molecular_dmrg(atoms=None, basis='sto-3g', charge=0, spin=0, active_orbitals=None, active_electrons=None, max_bond=32, sweeps=12, tolerance=1e-09, seed=7)

examples/quantum-algorithms/.venv/bin/python examples/quantum-algorithms/run.py --algorithm molecular_dmrg

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

quantum-molecular-dmrg is a skill published in the GitHub repository xi-zhao/OpenQuantum (75 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 82 tokens to every session and 1,091 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-25.
