webhooks-impl

webhooks-impl is a skill for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor from xsolla/xsolla-ai-kit. It costs 151 tokens per session (1,930 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A draft implementation guide for Xsolla webhooks, which are server-to-server messages about user validation, payments, refunds, and subscriptions.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to build webhook endpoints, verify SHA-1 signatures, grant purchased items or currency, handle refunds and subscriptions, allow approved IPs, and test with fixtures or a live tunnel.
Why use it?
It helps a custom shop backend process purchase events safely, including checking that messages are genuine and handling retries without repeating fulfillment.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00151 $0.01930
Opus 5 $0.00076 $0.00965
Sonnet 5 $0.00030 $0.00386
Haiku 4.5 $0.00015 $0.00193

Measured 5d ago against content hash 1c16ea6ce94f, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

webhooks-impl scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

When to use

Use this skill when the developer wants to receive and process Xsolla webhooks on their own backend for a headless web shop (their storefront on the Xsolla catalog + Pay Station, without Site Builder). Trigger conditions:

  • Implementing a webhook endpoint that grants items / currency after purchase
  • Verifying the webhook signature or debugging INVALID_SIGNATURE
  • Handling user_validation, payment / order_paid, refund / order_canceled, or subscription events
  • Making webhook processing idempotent or handling retries correctly
  • Reviewing an existing webhook handler before go-live

This skill covers handler implementation and how to test it. Enabling webhooks + creating the secret in Publisher Account is a manual step in Prerequisites below (not done by merchant-setup). Setting the live URL is covered in references/testing.md.

Prerequisites

export XSOLLA_WEBHOOK_SECRET=<project webhook secret key> # server-side only, never client-side
export XSOLLA_ENV=sandbox # default; "production" for prod

Publisher Account — enable webhooks + secret (human)

The agent cannot create the secret in PA. Ask the developer to:

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

It adds 151 tokens to every session and 1,930 once invoked, about $0.0008 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
