client-archetypes

client-archetypes is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from YannisKiefer/dark-psychology-skills. It costs 25 tokens per session (409 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A writing guide that groups buyers into six types, such as skeptics, bargain hunters, and multi-location owners. It gives communication advice for each type.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to identify a buyer type and adapt sales conversations, pricing discussions, proof, urgency, or explanations to that type.
Why use it?
It helps avoid using the same sales message for people with different concerns. The guidance focuses on matching tone and evidence to what each buyer fears or values.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00025 $0.00409
Opus 5 $0.00013 $0.00204
Sonnet 5 $0.00005 $0.00082
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00041

Security

Grade A, and why

client-archetypes scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Client Archetypes

The Big Idea

The same words close one buyer and kill the next.

First job in any chat: name the type. Then play their music.

The Six

1. The Skeptic Signs: scam questions, wants proof, short replies. Fear: being fooled. Play: lots of proof, zero hype, slow pace. "Fair guess. That's why you pay nothing until you've seen it work."

2. The Panicked Signs: exclamation marks, "emergency", "now". Fear: the bleeding. Play: calm plan fast. One action today. Don't raise prices on desperate people. Those become refunds.

3. The Bargain Hunter Signs: starts with price, low first number, compares quotes. Fear: overpaying. Play: let them earn a better rate with volume or commitment. One trade round max. Then hold.

4. The Old-Rules Buyer Signs: "the last company did it differently". Fear: unfair change mid-deal. Play: agree first, facts second, one clean path forward. Never argue about who said what.

5. The Multi-Location Owner Signs: says "we" and "our locations", thinks in systems. Fear: complexity. Play: one list, one approval, plan rates.

6. The Middleman Signs: marketing words, resell questions, hides their client. Fear: losing margin. Play: volume pricing, neutral branding. Double secrecy. Middlemen leak context.

Kills

  • Slow answers lose Panicked buyers to whoever replies first.
  • Proof walls bore Bargain Hunters. They want numbers.
  • Small-shop talk insults Multi-Location owners.
  • Trusting a Middleman like a direct buyer invites leaks.

One-Line Memory

Your rules never move. Your tone moves for everyone.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
