Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00025 $0.00349
Opus 5 $0.00013 $0.00175
Sonnet 5 $0.00005 $0.00070
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00035

Measured 12d ago against content hash 0551a4f2cf38, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-12, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

trust-from-zero scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Trust From Zero

The Big Idea

Strangers don't trust you. Shouting harder makes it worse.

You can't say "trust me". You can only remove reasons not to.

Put the risk on your side. Show it before they ask.

The Moves

  1. Name the flaw first. Say the worst thing before they think of it. "Most people who sell this are scammers. Here's what I do different."

  2. Show, then ask. Don't ask for belief. Ask for 2 minutes of looking. "Don't decide yet. Just look at this one finished case."

  3. Take the risk yourself. "If it doesn't work, you pay nothing." Then make that true. Words are cheap. Structures cost money. People believe structures.

  4. Use real numbers or say nothing. "Fast" means nothing. "Done in 11 days" sounds true.

  5. Give honest ranges. "Most cases take 7 to 21 days" beats "guaranteed!" People who sound sure all the time sound fake.

  6. Stay the same person. Same name, same voice, same facts. One caught lie poisons everything.

When It Backfires

  • Naming flaws you don't fix. That's fake honesty.
  • Explaining twice after they heard you once. Long defense looks guilty.
  • Fake deadlines. One caught lie ends it all.

One-Line Memory

Trust is what's left after you hand over every reason to doubt.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
