evo-supply-shock

evo-supply-shock is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Zhang-Henry/CoEvoSkills. It costs 60 tokens per session (389 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

An Excel-based economic analysis workflow that estimates how an investment-spending shock could change potential GDP in a small open economy. It uses a Cobb-Douglas production function, which links output to capital and labour, and an HP filter to separate trends from short-term changes.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to download data from the Penn World Table, IMF World Economic Outlook, and European Central Bank, then build and validate an Excel supply-side shock model.
Why use it?
It removes the need to collect several economic datasets and build the workbook calculations by hand. It also provides validation for the completed model.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00060 $0.00389
Opus 5 $0.00030 $0.00195
Sonnet 5 $0.00012 $0.00078
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00039

Security

Grade A, and why

evo-supply-shock scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 3 executable files (scripts/data_collection.py, scripts/excel_builder.py, scripts/hp_solver.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Supply-Side Shock Analysis Skill

Overview

This skill implements a complete workflow for estimating the impact of an investment spending shock on a small open economy using:

  1. Data collection from PWT (capital stock), IMF WEO (GDP), and ECB (CFC)
  2. HP filter for trend extraction in Excel
  3. Cobb-Douglas production function for potential GDP estimation
  4. Investment shock modeling

Usage

import sys
sys.path.insert(0, '/app/environment/skills/evo-supply-shock/scripts')
from data_collection import collect_pwt_data, collect_weo_data, collect_ecb_cfc_data
from excel_builder import build_supply_model
from validator import validate_workbook

# End-to-end entry point
build_supply_model(
    template_path='/root/test-supply.xlsx',
    output_path='/root/test-supply.xlsx'
)

# Validate
validate_workbook('/root/test-supply.xlsx')

Workflow Steps

  1. Data Collection: Download PWT, WEO, ECB data programmatically
  2. Populate PWT Sheet: Fill rnna and rgdpna columns
  3. Populate WEO Sheet: Fill real GDP level and growth rate, extend to 2043
  4. Populate CFC Sheet: Fill CFC data, link capital stock, calculate depreciation
  5. Production Sheet: Set up HP filter formulas, production function
  6. Run LibreOffice Solver: Optimize HP filter via macro
  7. Validate: Check formulas and results
Files

What ships with it

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

evo-supply-shock is a skill published in the GitHub repository Zhang-Henry/CoEvoSkills (66 stars, last pushed 22d ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 60 tokens to every session and 389 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-03.
