deepmotion-animate-3d

deepmotion-animate-3d is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from calesthio/generative-media-skills. It costs 85 tokens per session (8,183 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guide to DeepMotion Animate 3D, which turns ordinary video of a person into 3D human motion data without requiring tracking markers. It covers capture, character retargeting, refinement, exports, and handoff to games or 3D software.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for capturing body, hand, face, or multi-person performances and exporting the resulting animation for game engines or 3D content tools.
Why use it?
It removes much of the manual work of recording and transferring human movement into a 3D character, while clarifying what the tool does not create.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00085 $0.08183
Opus 5 $0.00043 $0.04091
Sonnet 5 $0.00017 $0.01637
Haiku 4.5 $0.00009 $0.00818

Security

Grade A, and why

deepmotion-animate-3d scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

DeepMotion Animate 3D

Use this skill when an agent needs to turn recorded human performance video into 3D character animation with DeepMotion Animate 3D, or when planning an Animate 3D Cloud/API/Real-Time SDK mocap workflow. This is a provider skill for markerless video-to-3D motion capture, not a general 3D generation, text-to-animation, acting direction, rigging theory, or animation-polish skill.

Do not use this skill for:

  • generating a 3D model, character mesh, environment, or prop from text or images;
  • provider-independent animation craft, keyframe animation, mocap cleanup in Maya/Blender, or final acting polish;
  • text-to-3D animation through DeepMotion SayMotion except when an API page exposes shared lifecycle patterns that must be clearly labeled as SayMotion rather than Animate 3D;
  • non-human, non-humanoid, creature-specific, vehicle, cloth, or object motion capture unless the task is explicitly about testing a humanoid approximation.

What Animate 3D Is

Documented fact, verified 2026-07-11: DeepMotion describes Animate 3D as markerless AI motion capture that converts ordinary human video into 3D animation. The product page and documentation say it can track full-body movement, facial expressions, hand gestures, and multiple subjects, with output formats including FBX, BVH, GLB, and MP4. Sources: https://www.deepmotion.com/animate-3d and https://www.deepmotion.com/doc/animate-3d.

Documented fact, verified 2026-07-11: DeepMotion positions Animate 3D in three access modes: Animate 3D Cloud through the browser, Animate 3D API for application integration, and Animate 3D Real-Time SDK as a lightweight real-time version. Public pages route API and Real-Time SDK access through sales/contact rather than publishing a complete public Animate 3D API reference. Source: https://www.deepmotion.com/animate-3d.

Marketing claim, verified 2026-07-11: DeepMotion calls Animate 3D accessible mocap with no suits or required cameras and says users can create animations "in minutes." Treat this as provider positioning, not an accuracy guarantee or processing-time SLA.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
