shogun-production-context

shogun-production-context is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from dcc-mcp/dcc-mcp-shogun. It costs 56 tokens per session (353 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of controlled tools for inspecting and changing production context in Vicon Shogun Post, including clip timing and character quality-assurance state. Shogun Post is software for processing motion-capture recordings.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for reviewing available clips, selecting an active clip, and applying approved timing or character QA updates.
Why use it?
It lets an agent update limited production state while checking the result and attempting a rollback if an update partly fails. It excludes artist identities and free-form notes.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00056 $0.00353
Opus 5 $0.00028 $0.00177
Sonnet 5 $0.00011 $0.00071
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00035

Security

Grade A, and why

shogun-production-context scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 9 executable files (scripts/_result.py, scripts/get_active_clip.py, scripts/get_character_status.py, …), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Vicon Shogun Post Production Context

Start with the read-only inventory tools to orient a mocap workflow. The four mutation tools call only Vicon's official Scene, Clip, and Character SDK contracts, accept narrow typed fields, verify the vendor read-back, and attempt rollback after a partial failure.

Character results contain bounded workflow state only. Artist identities, user names, final character names, trial notes, production notes, special-flag notes, and generic notes are never read or returned.

The Skill does not access the Eclipse database, create/remove/rename Clip objects, expose generic attribute writes, or read/write artist identities and free-form notes. Mutations remain capability-gated until validated against a disposable non-empty scene for the selected host build.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
