Librechat-Mobile: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/small-screens/SKILL.md

small-screens is a skill for Claude Code from garfiec/Librechat-Mobile. It costs 167 tokens per session (2,969 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A review and repair workflow for interfaces that fail on narrow screens, large text, or longer translations. It uses previews and rendered images to inspect layouts such as buttons, dialogs, and content under the keyboard.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to check changed mobile interfaces, identify small-screen defect classes, and show before-and-after renders of fixes. It is intended for Android and other mobile layout checks described by the workflow.
Why use it?
It finds clipped, cramped, or unreachable interface elements before they reach users. It also accounts for accessibility settings and translated text, not only phone width.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00167 $0.02969
Opus 5.5 $0.00067 $0.01188
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00033 $0.00594
Haiku 4.5 $0.00017 $0.00297

Security

Grade A, and why

small-screens scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 17d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 8 executable files (scripts/briefs.py, scripts/ledger.py, scripts/render.py, …), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 202 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Small screens

"Small" means small effective width in dp. A narrow phone, a large font scale and a translation longer than English each shrink it, and they stack. Many breaks happen in German at 1.0x on an ordinary phone.

reference.md is the method. It holds:

  • the test matrix and the trigger/control convention;
  • how to judge a finding and the severity rubric;
  • the defect classes C1–C11 with the fix each one gets;
  • the approaches the user rejected;
  • the rules every fix follows;
  • what renders can't show.

Read it before any mode. The workflows hand it to every agent, so changing a rule there changes it everywhere.

Rules that hold in every mode

  • Previews and renders, not simulators or devices. Layout is checked with committed @PreviewNarrowScreens previews: in Android Studio's preview pane while working, and as headless renders (harness/ + scripts/render.py) for the before/after record. Run a device or simulator pass only when the user asks for one. Name what renders can't show (WebViews, popups, iosMain, the keyboard) so the user can choose to check it.
  • The user sees before/after renders of every fix before any PR exists. Batches stay on local branches until the user has reviewed the review page and made the design calls.
  • Plan before code. Present design choices as options with a recommendation, including "leave it". Never shrink fonts to make things fit.
  • The harness is never committed.
    • render.py apply edits a module's build file and adds a generated test.
    • render.py revert restores the build file byte for byte and deletes the generated test.
    • It doesn't undo the temporary internal on preview hosts and fixtures; revert those by hand.
    • render.py status <repo> must print nothing before any commit.
  • Full :<module>:detekt, never detektMetadataCommonMain alone.
  • One plain git command per Bash call; the session hook refuses compound ones.
  • Commits and PRs carry no co-author, session or generated-by lines.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
